Chicago have been able to manifest this, and it has to do with having the courage to believe in the roster. Maleficent may have had her doubters and set backs, but she ultimately became a powerful force; driven by a desire and conviction. The Bulls have that desire and conviction in heavy doses. |

The Beast (Beauty and the Beast) - New Orleans - Physical strength, enchanted castle, and a tragic backstory that tugs at the heartstrings. New Orleans are bruisers. They have the backstory that has them hungry for more, as previous seasons had left them scorn. Through sheer will power and a faith in the future, this Beast has emerged bigger and better. The Pelicans are frightening at times, and the way they have pushed teams when fully healed is startling. The question is that, much like Beast, are the wounds too much, and which version will we see, the lover and the fighter are strong within, however the villagers and world (injuries and NSL) can be cruel. |

Elsa (The Snow Queen) - Charlotte - Ice powers that can freeze entire landscapes and build massive fortresses. Charlotte have been able to build their fortress and set themselves up for the future. They frozen the competition and a major factor is their enigmatic all-star guard Ja Morant. Elsa had moments of being misunderstood and cast into the shadows to wait…. The wait was worth it, as they now find themselves at the top of the East with every reason to be proud. GM Craig has been dogmatic about the chances and needs of this roster - the cold and freeze out didn’t bother this organisation, they were made for it. |

Phoenix might have lured others into a sense of insecurity, with previous expeditions into the woods proving unfruitful. However, the Suns akin to the Witch have found their strength. They have concocted the magic potion for the Wins Column in Phoenix. GM Laddas has found his mix, and his potency is strong. The Suns mean business and their sinister intent is to disrupt and cause chaos - with no team or adversary outside the realms of said chaos. |

Mauri. Utah are currently in a mode of waiting, still ever-powerful, but not fully formed. Without Embiid and Wagner, the Jazz are a demigod biding time. When ready, the seas will part, the oceans will quiver, and the platers will shake, with the dominant force of the Utah Jazz. Til then, the Jazz still find themselves 9th in the Power Rankings. | |

This team has always been scheming and plotting to achieve, and they have been uncompromising in their assessment of what they need. They sit outside the top 10 in the list, however they are always in the equation. Never count them out, and never discount the efforts of GM Digga, as the Nuggets akin to the BBW will hurt you and devour you if given the chance. |

The Pistons have given teams a hard time and lured them to their doom, mainly due to the crafty efforts of their leader, Jalen Brunson. GM Sheed would be very pleased with his work, and he has cast a spell on the league with his current roster. The quiet dominance of Ivica Zubac has been exceptional and a huge catalyst for success in Detroit. Can GM Sheed and the Pistons continue to cast their beautifully enchanting and hypnotising tune across the league? |

Philadelphia have climbed the beanstalk, from being at the bottom of the East, to progressing further, and now 13th on the Power Rankings. Jack knew how he was going to get up and be something bigger than himself - so too did the 76ers and GM Ben. Philadelphia have always had faith in the process, and subscribed to the belief in what they have ala. Magic beans. The question is, how much can the 76ers plunder from the giants while they’re sleeping? |

They are merely waiting for trouble and damage to really present themselves before acting and decimating all in their way. The Timbs are one of the more potent teams when fully fit, and given the chance will hurt any team in their way. A new GM with a deep roster, the Minnesota franchise akin to P.C, will be a force in any situation or storyline. |

King Midas - Toronto Everything he touches turns to gold, though his powers are as much a curse as a blessing. GM Dylan has been busy, and the acquisition of two of the most game-changing players in Durant and Curry is a golden combination. That touch has been somewhat problematic - akin to King Midas, not quite with the control and confidence that he would have hoped. They sit 15th on the Power Rankings, and will be hoping to turn their fortunes towards a more prosperous future. |

The Wizards have a confidence and thoughtful approach to their life in the NSL - but 19th on the Power Rankings would not have been on GM Joshua’s 2025 Bingo Card. Rest assured, they don’t need saving, and have all the power and promise to elevate and find the surface world. |

It seems a Cinderella story for the Kings, as they have been able to maintain a stretch, which has been elusive up until now. They have broken through the shackles and the issues of being downtrodden ala Cinderella. Much has been able to be achieved through their glass slipper (change-maker) - Tyler Herro, able to provide the Kings with a new outlook and new prospects for an organisation searching for a better life. Cinderella is looking for their prince, and the Kings are searching for theirs in the form of the future in the NSL. GM Klemm would be pleased with the 6-6 run of form. |

Learning from the past, and having been at the height of heights, Los Angeles have considered every move for the future ala. Aladdin. With Williamson, Holmgren, Kessler, and Leonard all out, the organisation has been in a dumps - living on the streets almost. However, the Genie is in the wings waiting, and before you know it, they will be observing a ‘whole new world’. | |

A 15-15 record has them looking different to previous years, however they are moments/games away from making any Big Bad Wolf look like a mere cub. Sweet and innocent sitting at 20 on the Power Rankings, that red cape is hiding weaponry. |

They have out-performed expectations and find themselves near San Antonio and Houston in the Power Rankings - both Western Conference title contenders. GM Daz has been exceptional in his forthright steering of this organisation since appointment and the fruits of labour have presented themselves. Akin to the Gingerbread Man, it becomes a question of how much fun they can have before getting caught. Until then, the Warriors are living the high life and they have ticked off a record that was unforeseeable on their 2025 Bingo Card. |

A team with all the assets and abilities unable to make it happen; beaten by minnow teams that they shouldn’t. GM Rootsey would be frustrated by this - can they unleash their terror and deal a poison apple to the league. |

While telling the true and lying shows definitive proof; currently the Houston Rockets seem to have a long nose. 24th in the Power Rankings seems a lie when you look at this lineup and roster. The Rockets have seen a slump, consider it a time of juvenile misleadings (ala Pinocchio). Still learning the right way to live life and achieve ‘real boy’ status, the Rockets are in a funk. Listening to their conscience will prove vital - Jiminy Cricket will need to work his magic to move this team to its rightful place in the top tier of the PR. |

At the moment they remain two kids in the woods searching for a brighter tomorrow - whether it is the story of them being abandoned or simply running away. Miami are the same - searching for the next big thing to change the future - til then they remain 25th on the Power Rankings. |

Puss in Boots - LAC A clever cat who can outwit humans and ogres alike. Although pint-sized, this cat has claws. LAC and GM Andrew have been cleverly rebuilding and defining Clippers basketball. They have a bright future, and a clear alpha in Paolo Banchero. But right now it appears that they are only in the corner, a young kitten waiting to unleash all that underestimate. Akin to Puss in Boots, the Clippers have a plethora of abilities to hurt - a mix of old and new with Harris, Banchero, George, Collins and JDub. |

Thumbelina (New York) Tiny but brave; relies more on kindness than power. A team that has changed from a major impact player, to a minnow. The Knicks look a little different, but have all the bravery and confidence toward the future. Right now they are taking damage, and easily harmed. GM Smokey knows what he is doing, and the future-proofing measures have been impressive. A tiny profile, but the power that they possess in the future might see them go from Thumbelina in 24/25 to dark magic in the future. A not so kind, not so small entity. |
