Washington Wizards - Power Ranking

All Rankings
Week 20#8Rating 738-4

Illegally downloading music - The one I used was limewire. You would sift through all the garbage and viruses to download your favourite songs and make a 12 song mixtape on CD.

Week 19#9Rating 738-4

Don't look now, but the reigning champ Wizards are right here in the mix again after struggling through adversity this year including with their perennial stud, Lebron James. The DNA of the championship team that held everyone to ransom last year is still there and strong in Capela, Lebron and Booker, and they have some nice depth pieces that have developed on the bench, key role players to complement, and a new offensive PG to help get that job done. No one wants to meet these guys in the playoffs, and they might just have avoided the Play In bracket, too.

Week 18#6Rating 728-4

Hi. Looking for one last fling to feel that deep connection and joy before setting down for a simpler life. I love travelling. Holiday setting, nostalgia-charged get away with someone who just wants to leave it all on the line and make the most out of the short duration of time we have away. Don’t worry about tomorrow, just live today!

Week 16#2Rating 9710-2

Missing in Action - Opponents keep disappearing when they show up. Clinical and dominant.

Week 15#4Rating 829-3

Home Alone - "This is my house, I have to defend it." Everyone counted them out, assumed they were left behind and went on vacation without them and Kevin McCallister set booby traps that destroyed everyone who tried to break in. This team go younger at the deadline, a bit scrappy and makes every matchup a nightmare for the opponent. Small but dangerous, like their new point guard addition. Never underestimate the kid home alone with a box of bb guns

Week 14#5Rating 768-4

The Underrated Planner: The reigning champs of the school, powered by Devin Booker and LeBron James. This teacher has already proven they can win it all- lessons are polished, confident, and built on experience and star power. 'The kids will perform on the day, you watch,'

Week 13#4Rating 798-4

Aaron Wiggins/Roddy FOR R.Williams. Not quite the 'Blockbuster' move we've seen among other franchises at the top... But a big part of being a contender for an extended period of time is NOT doing too much on the trade front. Making tertiary deals that see you obtain better rotational depth or fit. Low risk/High reward deals is where it's at. Sure I like Wiggins as a solid rotation guy... But compared to what the Timelord brings in game in terms of positive impact; The difference is night and day. Williams past injury history has of course come into play here and by HIS standards he's suited up quite regularly for the Wiz. Offering them size and versatility across multiple positions. Winning move for sure.

Week 12#5Rating 849-3

Compliment from a stranger - Don’t know if anything puts a pep in your step more than a complete stranger feeling the need to go out of their way to give you a compliment. Not only do you walk tall following it, it also reminds you that the world is not all bad and kindness still exists. Then maybe, just maybe you might pay it forward and do the same and spread some happiness. I am sure GM, josh has received his fair share of these. I know he has got some from me, albeit I am not a stranger, I still think he’s handsome. Although the slow start to the year, I would say Washington are walking a little taller of late, getting their swagger back like this had happened.

Week 11#12Rating 597-5

In what could be the last hoorah for this current iteration of the Wizards, the team is finally fully healthy and has now won 8 of their last 11. Can’t keep a champion down for long.

Week 10#19Rating 365-7

Argo (2012) – sneaky, stressful, and you never know if they’re about to escape or collapse. Washington have seen this play out in season 25-26. Can they reach the plane in time, and make the great escape? Or will they be left behind in crisis mode?

Week 9#17Rating 415-7

LeBron being out for a good portion of the start of the season probably slowed this team down and then with also Devin Booker now missing time, they may be a middling team down the stretch but on the bright side they'll either have the better pick of their own or the worst team in the league right now, Utah.

Week 8#15Rating 516-7

The Cool Kid- Just a really cool kid who is liked and admired by all. He's got some great achievements and amazing stories to tell when the drinks are flowing at the parties, but is humble and usually others do the talking for him. He's a great all-rounder- sports, social, fashion, and suprisingly academic. The world is his oyster.

Week 7#12Rating 607-6

Robin - Capable, but still searching for a lead role. Scoring talent without full control of tempo or defense. The champs are soul searching as they look to repeat! The Wizards have not been their old selves. They are looking for more, and a 7-6 stretch is below expectations. The return of the king can hopefully be the elixir!

Week 6#13Rating 587-6

Maria Maria – Santana featuring The Product G&B A story of resilience and perseverance, “Maria Maria” celebrates overcoming obstacles with strength and determination. The feeling is steady and uplifting, representing a team that thrives through endurance and cohesion. Slowly rising from the ashes of what’s been an injury riddled start to the season. The defending champs need all the help that they can get

Week 5#13Rating 597-5

Week 4#11Rating 587-5

Underoath: Underoath built their reputation on tension and contrast that shifts between melodic clarity and crushing intensity, often within the same song, and doing it at a level few peers could match. That duality fits the Wizards perfectly. Despite significant injuries early in the season - LeBron James yet to suit up, Jrue Holiday missing all of Week 3, and Robert Williams sidelined in Week 1—Washington sits at 7–5 through three weeks. Devin Booker has carried the offense, stabilizing the team while key pieces remain unavailable. Like Underoath, the Wizards are comfortable operating in imperfect conditions, able to survive disruption without losing their identity. Once healthy, the structure, talent, and championship pedigree are still very much intact, making them a legitimate threat to repeat.

Week 3#23Rating 274-9

Five of Wands: Symbolizes conflict, competition, tension, or miscommunication. Energy is scattered; cooperation is needed. Are the Wizards just a clean bill of health away from being the fearsome Title defenders we all anticipated? It has been a very rocky start, with the Front Office even complaining about the media attention Booker hasn't been getting for his scoring numbers. Will there be calmer waters ahead?

Week 2#28Rating 102-7

Look at the Wizards. They’ve got Devin Booker, Jrue Holiday, some decent pieces… and then there’s LeBron James. Forty years old, still playing 35 minutes a night. It’s not basketball anymore, it’s elder abuse. Honestly, at this point LeBron’s not chasing Kareem, he’s chasing social security.

Week 1#30Rating -50-5

Childhood Reference: The “Respawn With Nothing” Moment in a Video Game. Washington feels like starting a new save file by accident — no weapons, no items, and a boss fight immediately in front of you. Devin Booker is swinging a wooden stick while everyone else has diamond gear. With LeBron injured, it’s like your strongest character is stuck on the loading screen. "But I just won the championship..." Don't expect this to last long, Washington will work through the games, acquire the necessary mana and HP, and they'll be back at the top before you know it! But for now, they start from scratch... *throws controller*
