Daz hasn’t taken a once dumpster fire and turned them into a near competent squad. They are built of different stuff and this song encapsulates that perfectly.

Golden State Warriors (India) The Warriors' 'emerging market' strategy, akin to India's, has seen exponential 'growth,' leveraging a 'youthful demographic' and 'tech-savvy' approach to the game. Emerging indeed, the Warriors have elevated beyond recognition - strong leadership and an abundance of self-belief , the Warriors have had a meteoric rise.

13 8 65 GS 8-4 Poole Noodle- A play on words with their star player, the murder weapon the Warriors have used is a (Jordan) Poole Noodle. The humble pool noodle makes for a handy floatation device by the swimming pool that can be damaging if used correctly (much like the Poole/Monk combo). With the ability to strangle and drown the opponent it makes for an efficient murder weapon.

12 18 46 GS 6-6 Golden State Warriors - "Stacy’s Mom" – Fountains of Wayne (2003) A hilarious and catchy pop-punk hit, the Golden State Warriors have got it going on. They have been lethal and found the edge over many teams. The once forgotten Warriors are in a spot they could only have dreamed of, and the 18th ranking in the PR is a massive win.

The Warriors scuttle like a frenetic Kobold Warren – a hive of small, cunning pests that overwhelm foes with guerrilla tactics, traps, and sheer numbers. Though lacking a towering titan, they nip at heels, steal victories, and vanish into the shadows before opponents realize they’ve been outsmarted. Tunnel King (Isaiah Hartenstein) 🏰: Hartenstein is the Warren’s burly den mother, anchoring the paint with sneaky screens and defensive ambushes. His 7’0” frame is a living pit trap, swallowing rebounds and swatting intruders. Shiny Distraction (Jordan Poole) 💎: Poole flits like a kobold with a stolen gem, dazzling foes with heat-check threes and reckless drives. His chaos is both a weapon and a liability – perfect kobold energy. Swarm Tactics (Malik Monk & Bench) 🐀: Monk and Josh Green are the Warren’s skirmishers, slashing lanes and igniting fast breaks. Even Ben Simmons contributes as a disorienting decoy, luring defenders into bad choices like a kobold’s rigged corridor. Elder Kobolds (Kevin Love & Nicolas Batum) 🧓: Love and Batum are grizzled tunnel engineers, spacing the floor and tossing outlet passes like Molotov cocktails. Their wisdom keeps the Warren one step ahead.

10 26 5 GS 2-10 47 Ronin - Avenging the death of their master after enforced seppuku, the Ronin are a tale of honor, loyalty, valour and bravery. The Golden State Warriors are that. The way this team continues to try and rebuild from the depths of dispair is honourable. With setbacks and constant strategy, the Warriors, like the Ronin have sought toward achieving their goals and aims. All the while, intimidating even the most difficult, dangerous and sword-savy of enemies. In the ranks of the 47, GM Daz has brought together the likes of Poole, Hartenstein, Monk and Simmons to become his warriors - can they triumph in their pursuits!?

9 25 22 GS 4-8 Shae - I started off liking her. thinking she was genuine, and that Tyrion had finally found love in a very loveless world for him. However that did not eventuate and again he was betrayed by his own family and his love. He tried to get her out of the devilish game of the iron throne, but to no prevail. He unfortunately had to end their relationship by his own hands.

7 21 36 GS 5-7 The Gingerbread Man - Golden State Warriors Runs fast but gets caught in the end. The Golden State Warriors are having a party! They have out-performed expectations and find themselves near San Antonio and Houston in the Power Rankings - both Western Conference title contenders. GM Daz has been exceptional in his forthright steering of this organisation since appointment and the fruits of labour have presented themselves. Akin to the Gingerbread Man, it becomes a question of how much fun they can have before getting caught. Until then, the Warriors are living the high life and they have ticked off a record that was unforeseeable on their 2025 Bingo Card.

6 28 -1 GS 1-11 Wall-E (Wall-E) - Daz deserved a number of heroic Pixar characters as his tribute, but I couldn't escape the mirroring of Wall-E's endeavours and his own. Wall-E, programmed to clean up Earth after the previous inhabitants abandoned it due to destroying the climate, toils tirelessly searching for signs of life so that life can return to the planet. All Wall-E needs is one small sample of photosynthesis, and there's a chance Earth can return to what it was. The similarities of the plot and the protagonist are uncanny. The Warriors were destroyed and void of resources and life; Daz admirably took on the responsibility to restore life to a desolate planet. A lonely journey with much to do. Daz cares more about the outcome of the Warriors than any of his own. Rays of sunshine are already starting to break through the clouds and awaken the soils of the Bay Area.

5 30 -4 GS 1-11 Krampus (Krampus) - This ain’t Christmas Time! The Golden State Warriors currently live a life that is chaotic and unpredictable, much like Krampus, who brings an unstoppable, terrifying wave of punishment during the holiday season. GM Daz knew this when he took the helm, well knowing the need for change, and that has been instantaneous. Krampus punishes those who have been bad, much like the Warriors, who have sought for brighter days, even if they're seen as underdogs. Dealing with their current pain, the Warriors look toward next Christmas. “You’re on the naughty list.”

4 30 -18 GS 0-12 Billy Madison - Billy Madison. For last on the list I thought an Adam Sandler character was fitting, even though Billy Madison is still an all time movie and character. The lovable halfwit enters a bet that he can finish and abridged version of schooling in order to inherit his fathers hotel empire. A silly but hilarious movie and character, which has led to some classic quotes. Hopefully the GSW can breeze through the schooling and turn their franchise into their own empire.

3 30 -21 GS 0-12 Golden State has done a commendable job rebuilding this team. However, the expectations were never to compete this year. They’re not outright tanking, but you have to imagine they’ve got one thing in their mind right now: COOPER FLAGG

2 29 -12 GS 0-8 “We Didn’t Start the Fire” - Billy Joel- This fire was not started by Daz, and he is attempting to put it out, but even a GMOTY winner can't turn it around in just one offseason. It’s always been burning since the world’s been turning (when Titles was there).

1 28 -5 GS 0-4 Dazman, our beloved, GMOTY/admin-extraordinare, breaks in the Warriors officially with regular season basketball and kicks off a new era in the Bay Area. The Warriors have a lot of work to do, but Daz knew this was going to be the path. He just has to walk it now, one hopeful, slow, cautious step at a time.
