Power Ranking - 'Pixar in the NSL' Saga
Jan, 17 (Week 6) - Take some time out of your day or night to read about characters from the Pixar and NSL universes, and the similarities and links between the two worlds. *Bows* [jmac]

James P. Sullivan (Monsters Inc.) - Ethan has built some fearsome teams in the NSL, knocking on the door (no pun intended) of the Finals but never quite busting through. His lineups stirred fear in the opponent and you could pencil him for 60+ wins. Not much has changed, except for the jerseys his team wears. SGA is still bursting through doors and terrifying the kid on the other side, charging up the Bucks and Ethan with the energy to push through another season. However, despite the Bucks scaring their opponents, Ethan has gotten to know another side of himself as a dad. LIke Sully, once you have a little one to care for, perspective changes about a lot of things. But... Ethan still wants that top-scarer trophy!

Dash (The Incredibles) - Youthful exuberence doesn't quite describe Dash Parr, middle child of The Incredibles family. Blessed with super speed, Dash can't be caught, stopped or even slowed down. Similar momentum and explosiveness can be found with the 2024/2025 Cavaliers, who out of nowhwere have trumpeted to the league that they are well ahead of schedule and can be a true superhero-team as soon as now. Dash isn't taken seriously by his dad or by foes until he shows what he can do, and shows he is up for the fight. Shams has always performed well as a GM, but this recent run of team building has been exceptional. He is running rings around most of us (20 win streak) and we can't see him to stop him.
3 (2) | 94 | OKC | 11-2 NO 108, OKC 117 W OKC 120, Utah 102 W OKC 121, Sac 102 W GS 107, OKC 113 W Min 109, OKC 98 L OKC 115, Den 102 W OKC 132, Mil 127 W Chi 97, OKC 100 W OKC 122, Ind 106 W Hou 102, OKC 111 W OKC 105, LAC 109 L OKC 116, Atl 109 W Bkn 93, OKC 111 W |
Bruno (Encanto) - Surrounded by mystery, elusive and not seen by eyes for a long time, Bruno lurks in the peripherals, keeping an eye on his family and influencing the current and seeing the future. James speaks to few, makes few moves, but has no doubt put his Thunder team on a path to be a contender in due time. We won't talk about Bruno, no, no, and James won't talk to you, no, no (unless you have a simple yet fair trade offer).

Doc Hudson (Cars) - Grizzled, experienced and a depth of knowledge, Craig has taken more laps around the track and fought in more battles than almost anyone in the league. Craig isn't short of words like Doc is, and is much more delicate and charismatic during conversations, but the sentiment and intent is the same - I know what I know, and it's right and you arent and ill respectfully agree to disagree. Without knowing Craig, he can appear like a man who is in his own lane. However, upon further interactions, he has much more care for this league and the other participants than you might see at first. His (Hudson) Hornets, however, are as revved up as Doc was in his prime. Lean into the corners!
5 (8) | 81 | NO | 9-3 NO 108, OKC 117 L SA 118, NO 115 L Por 92, NO 118 W NO 122, NY 97 W Den 101, NO 112 W LAC 117, NO 124 W NO 115, Dal 90 W NO 106, Por 93 W GS 92, NO 102 W NO 104, Min 94 W NO 110, Chi 113 L Orl 103, NO 107 W |
Gill (Finding Nemo) - 'All drains lead to the ocean, kid.' I genuinely learned that from Gill, and theres some metaphor circling around that explanation, too; theres an endpoint for every journey. For Leeroy and the Pelicans, it's becoming an NSL Champion. Leeroy is one of the elite already, a champion in the NLL and one of our founding forefathers. Like Gill, he has been through it, with scars to show and tales to tell. He has reserved himself to a cursed life, a journey that will only go as far as the invisible boundary (health of his team) will allow him to go. However, with Luka and a great team, Leeroy might get to that big, blue ocean that he's dreaming of.

Lightning McQueen (Cars) - I want to go fast. There's no team in the league that symbolises the combination of wanting to be the best and likely being the best than the Wizards. Despite Lightning McQueen's future character development and maturity, the brash McQueen respected no opponent enough to consider they might be better than him. The Wizards have built up to this point through steady development and good trading, but there's no denying that this is a high performing machine that wants to cross that finish line first, at all costs. The Wizards have an engine that can't be matched and have pole position, currently. Ka-Chow!
7 (7) | 67 | Chi | 8-4 Bkn 106, Chi 112 W Chi 95, Hou 103 L Atl 99, Chi 113 W Chi 106, Tor 111 L Tor 109, Chi 110 W Chi 107, Pho 98 W Mia 111, Chi 121 W Chi 97, OKC 100 L Chi 115, Sac 107 W NO 110, Chi 113 W Chi 111, Tor 115 L Was 82, Chi 95 W |
Flik (A Bug's Life) - Somewhat haphazard and with clunky-creativity, but never short on self-belief and stubbornness, Flik both dooms and saves the ant colony in the same season, driving away Hopper and the grasshoppers tyranny for good. Not always understood and feeling his way as he goes, Flik ends up standing up for what he believes in and inspires a colony. Chicago is in a great place, and I didn't always see that happening. However, this season, the inventiveness has hit fever-pitch and Jonathan keeps inventing great new ways to improve his team and deliver prosperity to Chicago, driving away the doubters, forcing them to find their food, elsewhere.
8 (6) | 67 | Min | 8-4 LAC 95, Min 105 W Min 106, Dal 102 W Min 105, LAL 96 W Tor 88, Min 114 W Min 109, OKC 98 W SA 96, Min 106 W Was 106, Min 102 L Min 101, Sac 103 L NO 104, Min 94 L Min 107, Hou 105 W Min 83, Orl 92 L Mem 90, Min 107 W |
The Pixar Lamp (all movies) - The Pixar Lamp is featured in every Pixar movie, and performs a small manuever (jump, rotate, squeaking sound) at the opening credits. At this point, Shay is nothing but a blip on the NSL radar until he, she or they decide to be anything more. Much like the closing credits, Shay probably won't see this.
9 (12) | 67 | Utah | 8-4 Pho 103, Utah 114 W OKC 120, Utah 102 L Den 111, Utah 114 W Utah 108, Cle 115 L GS 106, Utah 115 W Cha 113, Utah 108 L NY 99, Utah 104 W Utah 97, Mia 110 L Utah 108, Bkn 99 W Orl 100, Utah 108 W LAC 77, Utah 107 W Utah 113, Sac 111 W |
Hamm (Toy Story) - 'PIG PILE'. Ham is a memorable character from the Toy Story series. A little sarcastic, a little condescending, intelligent and respected, Ham's voice carries a lot of weight in Andy's bedroom (not a pig joke). Jase has similar clout in the NSL, only speaking when he needs to and not mincing words. He speaks when he needs to act. Jase throws his snout around at the trade table. Always getting what he needs, never been rushed and never losing supremacy in the discussions. Jazz are right on the cusp.
10 (11) | 60 | Bos | 7-5 Orl 109, Bos 120 W Bos 109, NY 96 W Bos 112, Bkn 105 W Bos 101, Den 109 L Mem 108, Bos 105 L Den 117, Bos 110 L Bos 106, Det 111 L Dal 87, Bos 119 W Bos 111, LAL 104 W Phi 96, Bos 108 W Bos 109, GS 97 W Bos 99, Cha 101 L |
Fear (Inside Out) - If you have ever made a trade with the Boston Celtics, you will understand why I have chosen fear as the character most like to toby. Fear is a necessary evolutionary trait that allows us to evaluate what is good for us and what is harmful. It allows us to make good choices. However, it can also hold us back and this is where toby and fear become one - at the trade table. It could be the most hesitant trader in the league. Is team is great and the window is open but will fear stop him from reaching contender status?

Russell (Up) - 'Hey, I have never been in a floating house before.' I loved the visualisation of the NSL as this big glorious land mass that floats above the everyday grey and matte colours and duties, a wonderful fantasy land. Yeet has boundless enthusiasm and passion, much like Russ. Russ collects explorer badges and Yeet collects wins. Both are immature in the ways in the world, but also have an advantage - it hasn't jaded them, rounded their edges down through trials and responsibility and disappointment. Yeet plays a similar role in the NSL universe; he reminds us of the wholesomeness of excitement and caring about a cause. And to put a big bloody cherry on top of this, and a hearty pat on the back for myself, Yeet is the Wemby whisperer, just like how Russ was able to find the unattainable 'Snipe/Kevin' bird.'Can I help you with anything, Mr Fredsicksen?
12 (10) | 46 | Hou | 6-6 Chi 95, Hou 103 W Hou 120, LAC 115 W Hou 109, SA 117 L Hou 108, Mem 86 W Hou 106, GS 114 L Hou 102, Por 115 L Hou 109, Dal 103 W Phi 105, Hou 101 L Hou 110, Det 105 W Hou 102, OKC 111 L Min 107, Hou 105 L Was 111, Hou 116 W |
Crush (Finding Nemo) - A man who has no peer in the NSL, who bobs his head to a personal and spiritual rhythm all of his own, Vitticus has a special niche in the NSL ecosystem. There are two traits that see Crush as a perfect Vitt' avatar in the Pixar world: wisdom and flow. Vitticus is quite selfless in terms of how he runs his team and the impact he has on the environment, as he seems to enjoy the existence of his Rockets just as much as their performances. Like Crush riding the East-Australian Current, Vitt is happy to go where each week of NSL games and transactions takes him, learning and analysing as he goes. Vitt is most vocal when handing out advice and analysis, sharing unbiased statements that help other GMs get to where they are wanting to go and giving lost GMs a place to start. It's not about how many words Vitt says, it's what he says. RIGHTEOUS!

Nigel the Pelican (Finding Nemo) - observant, helpful and a team player, Digga gets to be the Pelican (it would have made sense for Leeroy now that I am 'saying' that) that helps support the stars of Finding Nemo and push the plot to the climax. In the NSL, Digga chooses to be a tertiary contributor to culture (great during sim testing) and happy to let his Nuggets work themselves out for the most part.
14 (21) | 44 | Det | 6-6 Orl 103, Det 120 W NY 99, Det 104 W Det 84, Mil 106 L Mia 112, Det 97 L Mil 113, Det 91 L Det 101, NY 94 W Bos 106, Det 111 W Phi 110, Det 107 L Det 124, NY 122 W Hou 110, Det 105 L Den 112, Det 103 L Atl 98, Det 115 W |
Anger (Inside Out) - I know Sheed is a nice guy, and maybe it is just how he phrases his communications (blunt, unpunctuated) and how poorly he responds to communications, but I like to picture him talking in unreasonable outbursts of frustration and emotion just like Anger does. Sheed at his best was a perennial Finals participant and contender but since his rebuild, he has slinked back into the peripherals. The colourful supporting characters add flavour to the movie and Sheed adds surprise and spice to the NSL.
15 (9) | 44 | SA | 6-6 Mil 119, SA 108 L SA 111, Mia 106 W Hou 109, SA 117 W SA 118, NO 115 W Por 95, SA 114 W SA 96, Min 106 L SA 121, Den 101 W SA 121, LAL 97 W Den 102, SA 85 L SA 83, Por 98 L Cha 92, SA 74 L SA 77, Mil 104 L |
Mr Incredible (The Incredibles) - Is there any physically stronger being than Mr Incredible in the Pixar world, Giannis in the 2k games, and Nels in the NSL world? The connections were easy to make. One of the storied GMs of the league, a two-time champion, Nels has always prided himself on being the tallest, biggest and strongest team in the land. An Incredible! The Spurs have taken down many villains and starred on the cover of newspapers and magazines. However, everyone has a weakness, and just like those superheroes before him, Nels has had to endure his licks. Whether it be injuries, roster gaffs or just the gradual decay of power over time, the Spurs have never been more aged, identifiable and humble than they are right now. It's hard to do it alone, for so long, with every villain plotting your end. As long Giannis and Nels remain a combo, the Spurs will continue to have moments of herculean strength.
16 (18) | 43 | Phi | 6-6 Phi 115, Ind 120 L Atl 93, Phi 104 W Phi 88, Mil 111 L Sac 109, Phi 100 L GS 102, Phi 109 W Ind 98, Phi 107 W Phi 110, Det 107 W Phi 105, Hou 101 W Dal 102, Phi 98 L Phi 96, Bos 108 L Cle 111, Phi 93 L Phi 103, Mia 99 W |
Rex (Toy Story) - Rex is kind and supportive and cares about the greater good of the toys in Andy's room. He worries he isn't enough for a T-Rex and stumbles through his insecurity of not being scary and not receiving the reaction a T-Rex warrants. Ben is a steward of the league and pours his time into maintining this incredible NSL product, caring for his peers like Rex. However, just like Rex, Ben's 76ers don't know how to be scary. Sure, this team is big, but do they know how to roar? Is anyone running from them? Can they live up to their fullest and be taken more seriously by other toys? Ben has to figure out which version of Rex to live us, and commit.
17 (15) | 41 | Sac | 6-7 Mil 129, Sac 100 L Orl 102, Sac 100 L Sac 111, Pho 103 W OKC 121, Sac 102 L Sac 109, Phi 100 W Sac 103, Tor 118 L Mem 107, Sac 110 W Min 101, Sac 103 W LAC 103, Sac 98 L Sac 105, LAL 93 W Chi 115, Sac 107 L Sac 119, Den 112 W Utah 113, Sac 111 L |
Mater (Cars) - Metaphorically, if I had to choose one GM that not only would choose to drive in reverse using the side mirrors, but be really good at it, it's the Klemmdog. Straddling, the line between barely legal and good entertainment , Klemm is somebody who always draws a crowd every time he decides to open his mouth. In the Cars film, Mater has even more characterisation than the star, Lightning McQueen, and this because he is a better character. Emotional and forgiving and unflappable and full of heart, Klemm provides the NSL with something that cannot be perfofmed by any other GM. Even the dialect he speaks with he has this 'cheerful twang' to everything he says, just like Mater. In a great twist of fate for the Kings, Mater's junk yard (King's roster) is now looking like anything but.
18 (14) | 40 | Pho | 6-6 Pho 103, Utah 114 L Sac 111, Pho 103 L GS 113, Pho 117 W Pho 107, Was 117 L Pho 104, Atl 102 W Chi 107, Pho 98 L Orl 102, Pho 110 W Pho 113, Cha 110 W Pho 91, Mil 119 L Mem 98, Pho 104 W Pho 94, Cle 115 L Pho 109, LAC 105 W |
Woody (Toy Story) - Make no mistake, nothing happens in Andy's bedroom without Woody's watchful gazes getting a glimpse of it. Sure, Woody is sarcastic, stubborn and condescending towards anyone or any opinion that he disagrees with, but the charm is in the constant support for the other toys and the investment in their community and culture. For the admins that run the technical side of the game, it feels like our beloved laddas runs the 'people' side of the league. Loyal, unwavering, and happy to put someone in their place, he has never taken a backward step and he has never taken his eyes off the prize - of maintaining the NSL and helping to keep the integrity and spirit in place. You best be seeing Sheriff Laddas if you are putting a foot out of place, or letting your mouth write cheques that you can't cash.
19 (16) | 39 | LAL | 5-7 LAC 94, LAL 109 W Min 105, LAL 96 L LAL 110, GS 95 W Mia 92, LAL 100 W LAC 103, LAL 109 W LAL 112, Orl 94 W LAL 107, Ind 110 L SA 121, LAL 97 L Bos 111, LAL 104 L Sac 105, LAL 93 L Dal 106, LAL 102 L LAL 105, Por 114 L |
Remy (Ratatouille) - 'Everyone can be a good cook' explains Gusteau, a mantra embodied by Remy, the rat with the heart of a lion and the palet of one of the culinary greats. The lesson to learn from Ratatouille is two-part: for the protagonist, don't be told you don't deserve what you want, and for the audience, don't judge a book by its cover. A meritocracy is the NSL, and without a hint of hyperbole, Justin and the Lakers would be my 1B for the best performed manager over the last 1+ seasons. I had him pegged as a 'card collector', a term reserved for the managers who are happy with what they have in their folders. I was dead wrong. Justin is as sharp and ruthless as any of the NSL elite, with room to grow. He is pulling the strings, make no mistake.
20 (19) | 37 | Tor | 5-6 Tor 103, Was 104 L Tor 102, Por 95 W Chi 106, Tor 111 W Mem 98, Tor 84 L Tor 88, Min 114 L Tor 104, Cle 110 L Tor 109, Chi 110 L Sac 103, Tor 118 W Ind 107, Tor 105 L Chi 111, Tor 115 W Tor 119, Mia 117 W |
Bruce (Finding Nemo) - This wasn't a perfect fit, but take a knee and let me wax lyrical as to why Dyl and Bruce can be spiritual dopplegangers. Bruce is arguably the most memorable character from Finding Nemo, in my opinion, due to the jarring juxtaposition of his physical traits and his personal beliefs - the apex predator that won't hurt anyone. No GM has more allies than Dyl; a wealth of 2k knowledge and decency, will always take time to listen and to help out. This belies his true purpose, to be the best in this league and hoist a trophy above his head, one day. Like Bruce, Dyl can suppress his killer winning instincts to a degree where he is a sought after sounding board and support person for many in the league. The kind killer.
21 (29) | 36 | Dal | 5-7 Min 106, Dal 102 L Dal 101, Den 111 L GS 100, Dal 105 W Dal 105, LAC 109 L NO 115, Dal 90 L Dal 87, Bos 119 L Hou 109, Dal 103 L Dal 99, Was 110 L Mem 93, Dal 117 W Dal 102, Phi 98 W Dal 106, LAL 102 W NY 81, Dal 107 W |
Dory (Finding Nemo) - Dory is a character so memorable and entertaining that it's spawned a very own movie, to solely focus on the exploits and accidental comedy of the flawed character. We love LJ. His appeal is wrapped in enigma and elusivness. We are so proud of what he and his family have been able to achieve and survive in this recent period. But there is no escaping LJ is the NSL's Dory. An uncanny resemblance. Poor memory. Poor conviction in following through with ideas and thoughts. Undeniable charm and heart. Stumbling into favourable outcomes. He is a beautiful disaster. Ironically, as all the fish in Finding Nemo try to escape the tank, LJ can't wait to get his way right back into one.
22 (17) | 31 | Mia | 4-8 Mem 94, Mia 109 W SA 111, Mia 106 L Mia 112, Det 97 W Mia 92, LAL 100 L Mia 104, Orl 95 W Ind 111, Mia 106 L Mia 111, Chi 121 L Utah 97, Mia 110 W Cha 110, Mia 106 L Mia 95, Atl 102 L Tor 119, Mia 117 L Phi 103, Mia 99 L |
Carl Fredricksen (Up) - 'I didn't ask for this. I am not your master!' I have no doubt that the NSL would not exist without Pete showing leadership and grit and committing as wholeheartedly to the conception of our great league. I'm not sure he will ever get the flowers (balloons) that he deserves, so I hope he (inflates) buys himself some. Firm are the hands that steer the ship, and Pete fluctuates between joy and banter and a weightedness of responsibility, enforcing of cultural norms and tech problem solving. He doesn't mince words but make no mistake, he is the ultimate steward and nurturer for this league and community. His Miami Heat are 'Paradise Falls'. For Carl, the journey is what drives him during the second phase of his life, to find purpose for himself. With Pete's league in the best shape it has ever been, pistol needs to turn his attention to the Heat team; mired in mediocrity, can Pete float and fly them to the beautiful heights he longs for?

Marlin (Finding Nemo) - I am quick to analyse incoming GMs and draw conclusions about their personalities, operational traits and aspirations in the NSL. Bulldog appeared to be few of words and quite serious in his personality and extremely cautious of his moves and impacts he had and could have as GM. The NSL is no coral reef - it is the drop off; a murky, bottomless body of water full of unknown events and predators. Much like Marlin, bulldog was extra cautious of this and had to build up the impetus to hit the open water. Through initial discomfort and hesitation, he is comfortably immersed in the NSL community, adding plenty of value and personality through his analysis and starting to live!
24 (23) | 23 | LAC | 4-8 LAC 95, Min 105 L LAC 94, LAL 109 L Hou 120, LAC 115 L Dal 105, LAC 109 W LAC 117, NO 124 L LAC 103, LAL 109 L Mil 111, LAC 85 L LAC 103, Sac 98 W LAC 104, GS 96 W OKC 105, LAC 109 W LAC 77, Utah 107 L Pho 109, LAC 105 L |
Captain (Wall-E) - a complementary character in arguably my favourite Pixar movie (Wall-E or The Incredibles), the Captain for the most part is happy with his station and how things are progressing onboard the Axiom spacecraft. Andrew isn't dissimilar in his approach to the NSL and running his Clippers; there's no rush, everything will sort itself out, and we are happy here just chugging along until Earth is once again inhabitable/Paolo becomes a superstar and the Clippers mature into contenders.
25 (22) | 17 | Orl | 3-9 Orl 102, Sac 100 W Orl 109, Bos 120 L Orl 103, Det 120 L Ind 115, Orl 110 L Mia 104, Orl 95 L LAL 112, Orl 94 L Por 121, Orl 126 W Orl 102, Pho 110 L Orl 100, Utah 108 L Orl 103, NO 107 L Min 83, Orl 92 W Ind 95, Orl 84 L |
Merida (Brave) - I didn't purposefully stick to Pixar characters of the same sex for comparisons, but we have arrived here and the similarities between Merida in a man's world, and one of Germany's greatest (fantasy) basketball exports thriving in the NSL, were too hard to ignore. Merida loves her kingdom and is strong of mind and character, refusing to do things in a manner that aren't befitting of her beliefs. Mailo runs her Magic in a similar fashion, choosing her own path and listening little to the voices who tell her she should or shouldn't be doing it the way she wants.

Buzz Lightyear (Toy Story) - The iconic character that symbolises Pixar along with Woody, Buzz Lightyear was built to perform at the highest level. Buzz felt he was born to be important, born to be the best and born to save the world (from the evil emperor, Zurg). Buzz was the coolest toy in the room. He himself thought that anything was possible, and that he could never be bested. However, through his interactions with others and difficult circumstances that present, Buzz's mortality is confirmed and his ego and perception of himself is ripped apart (like his arm). "DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME, I'M MRS NESBITT!" He can't do the things he once (thought he) could. He couldn't command the same audience, couldn't fight all the battles on his own. However, what he learned over time was that being a part of a collective provides much more possibility and fulfullment than standing opposite, on your own.

Mr Potato Head (Toy Story) - This was probably the worst fit of all, but there were some traits that I saw as a match and to be honest, I was almost out of characters. For Rootsey, I didn't want to focus on the comedic tone/butt of the jokes role that Mr Potato Head plays in the films, but more likening the stubbornness, commitment to beliefs, banter and falling a part to the Grizz' steward. Rootsey is an invaluable member of the NSL community, but the Grizz journey over the past two years has been a tragic comedy; despite never rushing to make a move and stewing on the idea, some how the Grizz managed to put continuous wrong steps in place that saw them miss playoffs, possess the highest potential luxury fine of all time and be one of the worst teams this season (so far).

Wall-E (Wall-E) - Daz deserved a number of heroic Pixar characters as his tribute, but I couldn't escape the mirroring of Wall-E's endeavours and his own. Wall-E, programmed to clean up Earth after the previous inhabitants abandoned it due to destroying the climate, toils tirelessly searching for signs of life so that life can return to the planet. All Wall-E needs is one small sample of photosynthesis, and there's a chance Earth can return to what it was. The similarities of the plot and the protagonist are uncanny. The Warriors were destroyed and void of resources and life; Daz admirably took on the responsibility to restore life to a desolate planet. A lonely journey with much to do. Daz cares more about the outcome of the Warriors than any of his own. Rays of sunshine are already starting to break through the clouds and awaken the soils of the Bay Area.

Frozone (The Incredibles) - Smokey is one of the NSL's favourite GMs and one of the longest tenured GMs from. He has been doing superhero work for decades. And now he sees his Knicks firmly at the bottom of a rebuild and himself in a spiritual quagmire about his purpose. Just as Frozone has to put away the super suit and his superhero deeds, Smokey has found solace in a tear down. The Knicks now have to scrounge value and trade wins amongst a season full of losses. No saving lives. However, just as Frozone in The Incredibles has his return to the spotlight to save the city, we know the Knicks will bust out the supersuit sometimes soon and begin their ascent back to the public spotlight. Reliable proactive, a really smooth operator.

Alfredo Linguini (Ratatouille) - Boy oh boy, it's not a good place to find yourself, at 30 in the Power Rankings. Especially when you have about 6 players rated 80+. I acknowledge there have been injuries for the Nets, but the time to ask the question is upon us: what are the Nets doing with their lives, and who is pulling the strings. In Ratatouille, Alfredo is a hapless bumbling busboy in a world-class restaurant, unable to perform even the simplest of tasks. It just takes a moment, a relationship, an open-mindedness to discover the heights of what he can do. For now, Breece and the Nets are Alfredo before he meets Remy. They have the vehicle, but they don't know how to drive it or where they are driving too. |
