TEAM RUMOR
Washington Wizards After announcing next season is likely his last, the Washington front office has reportedly been considering the possibility of trading away Lebron, the best player the league has ever seen.
Utah Jazz The Jazz hoping that the 2nd half of the season is played to a different tune.  Major injuries and missed time to Dejounte Murray, Joel Embiid, and now Franz Wagner has the team in Salt Lake City reeling.
Toronto Raptors Curry has reportedly been sent on busses to attend road games.  The directive didn't come from the Raptors brass, but their star player in Kevin Durant.  "I've been carrying his ass for too long!"
Sacramento Kings Kings seen dusting off the "White Chocolate" advertisement gear.  "What?  We don't have the revenue cash to make new nicknames, sorry Tyler."
Orlando Magic The Magic have been much better off since Kyrie's arrival.  "Yeah, we made sure to stock up with Sage before he got here".
Oklahoma City Thunder After a relatively tame season on the trade front, OKC has reversed course to begin the year.  First it was bringing in DeAndre Ayton, and now they have bolstered the rotation yet again by bringing in Brandon Clarke.
New York Knicks Once per season the Knicks make a major shift to the team it seems, and our correspondents are preparing for that time to come again.  "The Knicks are also one of the most active teams on the market, with seeming flexibility to take in pieces that could help them win now or continue to look to the future."
New Orleans Pelicans Luka's slim new look is apparently not the result of a training regiment change, or major diet shift, but instead, his disinterest in cajun seasoning.
Minnesota Timberwolves Minnesota training staff has reportedly embraced some black magic tendencies into the training room.  1 staffer was quoted as saying "whatever it takes to keep Jimmy and AD healthy man, without them we are done."
Milwaukee Bucks After stumbling out of the gates, the Bucks appear to be once again in the contender conversation.  Basically, everything they had hoped PG would bring, he has brought, and they've not lost since.
Miami Heat CJ Mcollum eyeing down the 6th man of the year award, but only if Miami's training staff can right their past wrongs...which are many.
Memphis Grizzlies Jaren Jackson Jr. reportedly unhappy after his move to the bench.  "Man, somebody get Tom Izzo an NBA gig!"
LA Clippers After shuffling the deck a bit, the Clippers have a new look heading into week 5 of the season.  A Clippers staffer was quoted this week as saying, "we're still going to have pool parties though, right?"
Houston Rockets 3...2...1....liftoff!

The Rockets have arrived, and they've done so in convincing fashion.

Many around the league are puzzled by the recent trade, but hard not to trust a front office that has operated with such conviction.
Detroit Pistons Detroit team brass has taken Brunsons keys to the training facility.  "We love the guy, but nobody else can get a shot up when he's in the gym."
Denver Nuggets After tinkering with some rotations, the pedal appears to have hit the metal in Denver.  Donny showing yet again he can carry a team to the upper echelons of this league.
Chicago Bulls The Bulls are one of the top feel good stories of the league early on, even while Lamelo Ball misses time with injury.  Jalen Suggs appears poised to grab hold of the top dog spot while Ball is away.
Charlotte Hornets The Hive is buzzin, with Ja Morant and co. coming out with a roaring start.   Let's just hope it doesn't start beeping, as the Hornets cannot withstand another run in with Ja's mortal enemy, the metal detector.
Brooklyn Nets After a fully healthy week, the Nets played multiple competitive games against some of the leagues best.  These glimpses give strong insight into exactly why GM Breece has kept this group together for as long as he has.
Atlanta Hawks Desmond Bane has rewarded GM Bulldog for his patience.  After exploring trades all of last season, Atlanta decided to retain him, and that gamble looks like it will pay off in a big way.
Golden State Warriors Hartenstein debuted last week, and while the team doesn't have a win, there are encouraging signs of where the franchise is heading.  They are building this thing, 1 freakishly oversized athlete at a time.
San Antonio Spurs The Spurs have been surprisingly one of the more active teams on the trade market, after a couple of early season moves which brought Lavine and Grant to San Antonio.  Both players are rumored to be names available as we approach the 1/4 point of the season.
Portland Trail Blazers After a trade frenzy of an off-season, and start to the season, the Trail Blazers appear to be out of moves.
Philadelphia 76ers 76ers front office is hopeful Porzingis' return to action can vault the team into contention out East.
Phoenix Suns Rumors out of Phoenix point to Damian Lillard's discontent with the team brass.  "I'm carrying this squad, and all this dude can talk about is Deni?"
Dallas Mavericks Mark Cuban rumored to be pondering a return to Mavericks ownership after they notched their first win of the season last week.
Boston Celtics Tatum puzzled at his lack of minutes in comparison to the rest of the league's top dogs, "32 minutes?  C'mon man!"
Indiana Pacers Wemby seen getting off the Indiana team plane in bubble wrap, as the star is poised to return to action.  The Pacers are doing everything they can to keep their young big man healthy.
Cleveland Cavaliers Scottie Barnes dumbfounded when advised he would miss time with an ankle injury, "what the hell is an ankle?"
