Today we will break down 20-11 and soon enough the big names will drop as I list the top 10. Have you done your research?... What direction will you take?... Does Jmac really bathe in the blood of the innocent? Do you have enough points to comfortably keep your guys around despite numerous reminders from myself that you will need to?... But I DID include some pretty cool pictures to keep you engaged!
Estimated 2021 contract: 1+1P/20M Chance of staying: 70% Dragic bounced around in the NSL having stints in Denver, Sacramento, Minnesota and finally, Detroit. Considered an over qualified 6th man who despite injuries over the last few years, came into his own for Miami in the NBA to close out the season. He's getting on a bit but will be highly sought after for any contenders or fringe teams looking to make that next leap. More then capable of running a starting unit at times and has the size and shooting to play the two. He has badges a plenty and will see a lot of action come FA day.
If he stays in Miami then the Pistons are a sure thing to keep him as they need bodies and Kyrie Irving insurance in case the world frisbees out of orbit. Forbes is really the only one they will be focusing on otherwise but Sheed may decide its not worth it if Dragic opts for free agency... That or if he is thrown a ridiculous contract in the NBA making it diffcut and hard to justify given the fact the NSL Pistons may need to find up to 7 guys to fill out the roster and are currently over the Luxury threshold.

Howard; Another
former All-Star who packed his bags multiple times from the Clips and Utah this
season to finally land in Portland. He is still one of the top flight elite
defensive big men in the league and 2k will always see it that way. Like many
former stars he will get the benefit of the doubt with any poor form during the
NBA season and lucky for him "Implode every franchise you touch"
badge isn't a thing. He has all the defensive badges you want/need and should be on
a great contract. He is 34, so obviously he's best years are behind him but
given his resurgence with the NBA Lakers, I expect him to be there next year
making him an easy re sign.

The Melo comeback
story has been an underrated narrative in both the NBA and NSL. It's still to
be argued whether he even contributes in a positive way to NBA's Portland but
just like a lot of veterans on this list, 2k doesn't seem to give a shit. He was
right up there in 6th man talks this year and was crucial in regards to the
Hawks having the best bench in the league in terms of PPG. That being said, he's
35 and he'd be lucky to even get another years run... But if he does he will be
dynamite for any team that has him.

Teague was
disappointing this year in the NSL but a lot of it could be due to him being
ether buried in rotation or not being utilised properly (Ie: Not being traded
to the Kings despite numerous requests). There's no reason with his ratings and
badges that he cant at least serve as a handy bench guard for any team wanting
to win. There's no way he gets anywhere close to his last contract given how
guard heavy the league is but he had stretches in the NBA this season that
should see him uphold his value.

65/50/68 Splits Estimated 2021 contract: 2yr/24m Chance of staying: 30% Utah got the raw end
of the stick this year and that's putting it nicely. They were projected to be
a true force out West and it all came crumbling down as soon as Cousins went
down for the season again before we had even simmed a game. Favors was a great
back up and performed well for them and while still being 28 he has a lot of
value and will be looing to secure multiple years.

Millsap was a late
addition for the Heat who just got bounced in a one sided affair against the
Chicago Bulls. He didn't see much time in the end but all year has put up great
numbers and is a versatile two way 4-5 man in the league despite his age. His contract
is so inflated and you would assume its on the basis that he will be taking
less to maybe stick around in Denver in the NBA but who knows.

The Kings brought in
Noel and Ibaka as their primary starting front court late in the season and
took off from there. Ibaka was the perfect fit and although he took a big hit
numbers wise compared to other stops this season like Golden state, he is a true
professional and does what it takes to win. He had a great year for the NBA
raptors and with Marc Gasol spiralling and hardly on the court, they may decide
that ibaka is also a perfect fit next to Siakam and keep him on. Word on the
street is the Kings intend to dump like 280 points on him so I wouldn't even
bother.

Christian Wood has had the raw goods and skillset to make it in the NBA for some time now but has probably just needed the extra time to mature and find his feet. Those who have followed him have held their breath waiting to pounce as soon as he stuck in a good NBA situation. Drummond got moved for pennies and this kid came out on fire probably warranting a long term and healthy contract with the promise of being the NBA's Pistons starting big man. Perfect for a team like the Raps who would relish having his ability to space, rebound and protect the rim.
Detroit may very well and stupidly I might add, throw a shit load of money at Wood dazzled at the 30 second stretch of good basketball he put together before Gobert gave everyone the 'Rona. Can the Raps afford him when they already have Vuce and after paying a Kings ransom and them some for Bryant? They also have to worry about the situations of Evan and Burkes and salary wise they aren't looking pretty.
