NSL Insider - POTW/ROTW week 4! by KLEMMELO, updated on Saturday, December 14 2019, 03:35 am EST Kemba Walker - Brooklyn Nets.
Another first timer which is great to see across the league. Kemba got it done convincingly with 9 first place votes over Griffin. His averages of 28.2/3.4/5.8/2.4 with splits of 42/40/86 were impressive and they were a whopping 16.4 points better with him on the court. The Nets are the hottest team in the league right now and this guy is at the forefront!
9 first place votes over BG
DeAndre Hunter - Indiana Pacers
This is Hunters second time taking this out and looking like he's shaping up to be a favorite for ROTY. He nabbed it with 6 first place votes over Luka in a pretty even spread voting wise across the board. The Pacers have been a bit hot and cold but this kid always puts up numbers with averages in week 4 of 14.8/6.3/2.5/1.8. Surprisingly he won it while being pretty bad efficiency wise, get it young blood! James Harden - Portland Trailblazers
The Blazers are running hot and top of the West on the back of this guy. It was a super close race in the end with 6 first place votes over 7 for Westbrook but got there on total points. His week 4 averages of 31.8/6.8/5.3/2.3 with splits of 50/40/89 were super impressive and they were 11.8 points better with him on the court. Crazy stuff and we wont see them slowing any time soon.
Ja Morant - New Orleans Pelicans.
He's first weekly award so far and the Pels have put a lot of trust in this kid for good reason. He had arguably his best week yet with averages of 19/4.8/4.8/1.5 while being very efficient with splits of 50/39/71. The voting was a landslide with 12 first place votes over MPJ. Great work from the youngster!
