NSL Insider - POTW/ROTW Week 3!

by KLEMMELO, updated on Saturday, December 07 2019, 02:10 am EST

Anthony Davis - Chicago Bulls.

About time this dude showed up on these lists. He got 9 first place votes over Holiday with 5 but it was clear who was the best player out East in week 3. He had averages of 25/15/4.5/3.8/1.8 shooting 57% from the field and the Bulls went 2-2, he will be the lynch pin for the level of success they have this year so no pressure big guy.

Brandon Clarke - Washington Wizards

Another youngster who has won his second weekly award rivaling RJ at this point in time. Both guys are legitimately contributing to contending teams so it's not just empty stats. He got 12 first place votes over Hunter with 2 and Week 3 saw him with impressive averages of 14/12.5/2.8/1/1.5. He looked to be super aggressive this week living around the basket instead of scoring from range, so this just shows his versatility.

Giannis Antetokounmpo- LA Clippers

A couple weeks ago this dude didn't even get a mention. Now he's taking it out with 14/15 first place votes in an almost perfect outcome (the other was Kawhi so obviously laddas paid someone off to throw away their vote and ruin Giannis' unanimous victory). The Clips went 3-1 and he eclipsed 40 points in every game. His weekly averages of 42/15/8.8/3.3/1.5 and splits of 61/57/76 are out of this world and with Howard gone does he have more space to operate now?!

RJ Barrett -LA Clippers:

For the second week in a row RJ takes it out and is slowly breaking out as one of the front runners for the end of year honors. He's putting up seasoned Vet numbers and is the perfect accompaniment to Giannis. He upped his output with his best week all season with weekly averages of 23.5/4/5/2 and splits of 47/45/73. Again he snipped 14/15 first place votes and it's just all LA today baby!
