Not being able-bodied. Losing a loved one. Likely one of the typical biggest fears. Greatest Achievement: Aside from an NSL title? My amazing family, my ascension into fitness/wellbeing Why do you love the NSL: It is as close as any of us will get to running an NBA franchise. It's the most immersive fantasy sports experience there is. I get to cut my teeth with negotiating, analysing, predicting, strategising - all high-order thinking skills - and I fucking love it. Also, I hate to lose and I like trying to be the best at/in whatever I am doing. The cherry on top is the incredible group of people that make up the NSL community. It's a special place to be a part of. It's the greatest hobby. Favourite GM: Can we answer ourselves? I kid. I think Klemm provides more spark to the NSL than anyone else. I think pistol has created a website that we almost take for granted because it's that amazing and reactive and functional. I like that the NSL has an ecosystem that allows different GMs to pop up in different roles, and different times and get spotlight. Which Pop Culture/Sporting Star had biggest influence on you growing up: In the AFL, Chris Grant was my favourite player growing up. I fondly remember Allen Iverson being prevalent in the NBA when I started to be more aware of the league and could watch it on TV. All Time Favourite Movie: Impossible question! Favourite GM: Lots of favourites, but I feel I have become good friends with Ethan over the NSL journey and always have some good open conversations with him. Leeroy I have always looked up to as well, but that is a given. Which Pop Culture/Sporting Star had biggest influence on you growing up: was a massive Shaq fan... and when I started getting into the NFL Massive soft spot for Ray Lewis. Some days I achieve something (website, automation, trade, etc) or my team is really rocking in the win column getting the most out of my guys. Other days my resignation is only an enter key away. Favourite GM: Its rotated a few times over the years. wizkid for his selfless nature, and all he does for both leagues. Had a few really good chats with him this year, gone throw some similar life lessons, he is just a great guy.
