Ben Simmons - Miami Heat.

For his second weekly award so far this season Ben won it in a close run out against Dame with 6 votes over 4. He had healthy averages of 28.8/6/7.8 and led the Heat to a 4-0 week, seemingly getting them back on track despite the injuries and lacking form. 

Kendrick Nunn - New York Knicks.

A first timer this week and he got it done right at the finish line with 6 first place votes over Culver although 3 single votes separated the top 3. He had a nice week with 13.5/2.5/2 averages and it wont be long before he gains the confidence to start developing into a real core piece for the Knicks now they are in full tank mode. 

Russell Westbrook - LA Lakers. 

Russ had a huge week with averages of 43.3/8.5/5.5/1.3 for his second weekly award. Voters didn't seem to care they went 2-2 but sometimes with such ridiculous numbers it doesn't matter. He got it done with 8 first place votes over Hardens 4 so maybe everyone's just sick of Portland winning.  

Michael Porter Jnr - Denver Nuggets 

Is the wait finally over? All the hype around this kid but with all the injury risk meant a lot of GM's stayed well clear. Digga might look like a complete genius with the flashes of brilliance this kid is showing. In his first weekly award he won it with 11 first place votes over white and with averages of 21.3/9.3/3.3/1/1.3. Late run at ROTY anyone?
