Dame Lillard - Toronto Raptors. 

It's Dame time! finally the Raps get some recognition and Logo Dame gets the nod this week as the Raptors are finding form and carving out a top 8 spot in the East. He won it over Embiid with 5 first place votes over his 6 so it seems there's some love around the league for the lovable lout that is Jesse. Dame had averages of 31.8/4/8 and was elite efficiency wise with splits of 51/49/100. 

DeAndre Hunter - Indiana Pacers. A bright star for the Pacers this season with Hunter taking it out for the 3rd time and solidifying his case at least as the best rookie in the Eastern conference. It was super close like a lot of the winners this week with again one less first place vote at 6 over Clarke's 7. He has averages of 19/6/4/5/1.6 and splits of 44/32/86.

Lebron James - Sacramento Kings. 

Finally the King makes his mark with his first weekly award for the year against some stiff competition in Butler and Zinger with 3 points separating the top 3 guys. He got it done with 5 first place votes over Butlers debut at the point and a perfect week for the Blazers. He had arguably his best all round week with averages of 37/7.5/8/2.5/1 and splits of 56/36/50. If only he could hit a free throw. 

RJ Barrett - LA Clippers. 

RJ takes it out again in typical fashion essentially getting the lion share of first place votes with 13 over Ja's 2. It's his fourth time winning it and every week I write this up I praise him for his best week yet but perhaps he's out done himself again with averages of 23/5.8/3.3/1.5 and splits of 43/43/54. Apart from Portland and Bulls the Clips look to be the other true contender in the league and RJ is there second best player. Just give it to him now.
