NSL Insider - Ratings Update Week 8

by pistolpk, updated on Monday, January 13 2020, 02:56 pm EST

This report is based on players who played last week, and the position they were listed in, sorry injured players were not included. I have tried to go through the transactions to make sure the players are on their current team following trades last week. Each player and figure were typed out manually, so there is a chance that there is some spelling mistakes.

For those that don’t know the process, we export all the skills and tendencies ratings out of 2k20 and import them back into 2k19. 2k20 introduced a few skills that are not listed in 2k19 so this could affect the players overall in 2k19. Intangibles has been a big change, as they were a lot lower in 2k20 as they distributed those ratings to other skills. This week we did see allot of changes in Intangibles within 2k20, and below is the affect they made to 2k19.

Another thing to keep in mind is players, out of position. The overall is how 2k believes the player will play in that position, some players will get nice upgrades, others will get devastating downgrades. Its not until you see how a player uses their skillset in 2k19, that you know if the move is successful or not. I have tried to note some players who are playing out of position and that the position move has affected the overall.

I am assuming this topic will create allot of conversation.

If you would like to look further and in depth into a player’s rating changes, we have them here:

Leonard got killed this week in Intangibles, Offensive consistency and Shot IQ, yet is still listed as a handy 75 in 2k20. Its just not Leonard’s year, he might need to sub out.
