No Easy Wins
No Longer the TimberPups
The Minnesota Timberwolves have seen a tonne of roster movement over the first few NSL season. We went from veteran heavy roster to one that was rebuilding within a few quick trades. Then in the last offseason through a few more trades we were back within contention out west. Last season the Wolves may have snuck a few wins by as they were an up and coming team, but off the back of a 66 win season, the Wolves will be heavily involved in teams scouting reports this season, there will be no easy wins to be had in the coming season.

2022 Offseason
The 2022 offseason start off with a bang for the Timberwolves trading away All NBA Pascal Siakam for some players and picks which were then on traded to land up and coming All-star Brandon Ingram. A trade that sees the Wolves land one of the youngest Big 3's in the NSL with LaMelo Ball, reigning rookie of the year Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram, which should see the wolves contend for many years to come.
Defence Wins Championships
In Minnesota we have always had a solid defence but never one of the better ones across the league, many talks had been had in the past with the San Antonio GM Nels where there would be a swap of the beloved Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday however, the two sides never struck a deal even though there was mutual interest. Jrue had a brief holiday in Toronto before finding his new home in Minnesota, Jrue is one of the best catch and shoot players in the NBA, we are hoping that he sees some 2k love in this area this season as he will likely be playing off the ball a lot and acting as our defensive leader.
The Minnesota front office looks forward to the coming season of NSL basketball, we will constantly stride to make the roster better and as always we aim to push those western conference powerhouses to be better and hopefully join them one of these coming seasons.
