Somebody please turn off Injuries
Here to complain…. The injuries just DO NOT END, someone make it stop PLEASE. More bad news for the Timberwolves as their two stars in Anthony Davis and Jimmy Butler continue to play musical chairs with the starting lineup. Anthony Davis with the most recent injury where he suffered a left adductor strain and he is expected to miss multiple weeks due to the injury. Not only do they lose Anthony Davis but they lost any Backup Center and Power Forward help with Ousmane Dieng being out as well. What makes this most concerning is Anthony Davis’ long list of injuries throughout his career and where that leaves the Timberwolves for the season. Anthony Davis, often regarded as one of the top Big Men in the NBA, has been a dominant force for the Timberwolves since his arrival. His combination of size, defensive ability, and scoring makes him a cornerstone of their success. However, due to injuries, Davis has been sidelined for several stretches this season, forcing the Timberwolves to adapt without their star. Davis's absence could have easily derailed the Timberwolves' aspirations of competing in the tough Western Conference. His defensive presence, shot-blocking abilities, and versatile scoring make him a player that few teams can afford to lose. BUT we are here to COMPETE and we will do so with the hopes that Anthony Davis will be back before the end of the season. At the heart of the Timberwolves' ability to remain competitive during this challenging stretch is Jimmy Butler. His scoring ability is complemented by his tenacity on defense, where he has consistently guarded the opposing team's best player. Butler's performance on both ends of the floor is going to allow the Timberwolves to stay competitive, even without the dominant presence of Davis in the paint. But he can NOT miss any more games, this team has so much money tied up in Jimmy and Anthony Davis that the roster without them would struggle mightily if Jimmy was to miss anymore games. But he seems to be in a better place so I do not think we will see any more suspensions at least Jimmy’s …but he may want to be a barista again.
Jimmy Butler: WE NEED YOU MORE THAN EVER
