NSL Insider - Premium: NSL Christmas Wishlist!

Atlanta Hawks Health and a big!

Is it an odd week? Does this mean Lillard and Siakam are out again? The Hawks have good young players and two stars, they just need to stay healthy. It wouldnt hurt to get another legitimate big if they want to be a playoff threat.

Boston Celtics A big!

The Celtics were one of the NSL Darlings to start the season, posting many wins. The shine has come off a little now, but they are still one of the leagues most talented and deep teams. They need some veterans, particularly a big.

Brooklyn Nets Chemistry and Khris Middleton!

Middleton will debut in Brooklyn in Week 6 and it couldnt come soon enough. The Nets are in every game but are failing to win enough of them. They have enough good players, just need to come together.

Charlotte Hornets Chemistry and a big!
The Hornets have coasted through the previous two seasons but find themselves battling most nights to put themselves in a position win. Much of this struggle is due to no Chris Paul and a true lack of size.

Chicago Bulls Davis to stay healthy!
Merencio hasnt been sighted in public for weeks now as he goes into Bruce Wayne reculse-mode. His Bulls continue to surprise and prove to be a good team. His key piece, Davis, is playing out of his mind in the NBA.

Cleveland Cavaliers Bench production!
Cleveland are one of the great surprises of the season thus far, and I love that Shams always had confidence in his vision and team and has proven it on the court. The team still lacks class and could do with one more upgrade trade.

Dallas Mavericks Another good player!

For better or worse, LJ sleeps in the bed he has made with a flurry of deals. However, I think he has the pieces and potential to turn this team into a team that might have a low ceiling but one with high floor, winning enough games to develop and not reward the Jazz.

Denver Nuggets Defense!
When the Nuggets are on, they cant really be stopped. But, when the shots dont fall, the team lacks defense and toughness to grind out games. Does the improvement come from within or externally?

Detroit Pistons Chemistry and identity!
I just assumed the Pistons would always be really good. Is this a slow start or the end of the era? They have an entirely new team, and Im not ready to write sheeds 2k brilliance off. They need to figure out who they are.

Golden State Warriors Trades and prayers!
Gee, it is looking a little bleak in The Bay for now and Clay is nowhere to be seen. Irving and Lavine make up one of the best guard duos ever seen in the 2k, and Grant is good if not underdone in 2k, but the rest of the roster lacks significantly.

Houston Rockets Time in the lab!
Vitt has come out and pretty much said the Rockets are the team to beat now and who could argue with that!? After finding a formidable lineup and strategy, Vitt just has to continue to refine and build on the momentum gained from the Portland win.

Indiana Pacers 2K maturation!

I still dont know what to make of Indiana, but they have undeniable talent on the roster. Is it a 2K thing, or a chemistry thing? Maybe both. KAT out hurts.

Los Angeles Clippers - 2K maturation!

The new-look Clippers post-Giannis era appear to be well ahead of the learning curve; Banchero and Mathurin have already been blessed with some 2k cosmetic surgery after their terrific NBA debuts. Keep getting in reps.

Los Angeles Lakers Chemistry and trades!

With some cryptic trade posts, are the Lakers buying, selling, or treading water? The teams aspirations have not been matched with performances thus far. What will happen in LA? Cade, come back!

Memphis Grizzlies Chemistry!
Memphis have made two terrific trade splashes this season, bringing in two All-Stars in one of the great trade flurries of all time. Now, the Grizzlies should have the pieces to match it with anyone. Time to galvanise.

Miami Heat Health and chemistry!
Miami show signs of life on the court as they finally develop some consistent health (???). Fultz is back, Isaac is back in the G-League practicing after the longest hiatus I can remember since Grant Hills ankle injuries. Pete is hungry to win and just needs to build the chemistry.

Milwaukee Bucks Time in the lab and a big!
Daz has been a force of nature since taking over the Bucks, taking the franchise to the ECF and now aspiring for the title. The Bucks just need to continue to play, build and win.

Minnesota Timberwolves Lamelo!

Prayers for Ethan and Minnesota, as they continue to win almost all games even without their best player in Lamelo Ball. The Wolves will surely need him back playing to be the title threats they can be.

New Orleans Pelicans Chemistry!
New Orleans have as talented team as any. They have two elite players and a handful of good supporting players. This is the year for the Pelicans to build towards true contention.

New York Knicks Health!

Knicks must have been on Santas naughty list with all the brutal missed games they are copping due to injury. Kawhi and Butler looking fragile, the Knicks just need to find the MJs Secret (Health) Stuff.

Oklahoma City Thunder Focus and persistence!
The upstart Thunder continue to accumulate wins but one has to wonder, does their youth and inexperience catch up to them? I implore them to continue to believe in their product and win.

Orlando Magic Chemistry and a big!
A team who add two, lose two players each week and continue to be affected by injuries. On paper, the Magic should be better than their record suggests. They need Trae Young to rediscover his offensive swagger, though, and they need another big.

Philadelphia 76ers Another scorer!
I called it as soon as the Wiggins heist was completed, that the 76ers will be a good team this season. The surprising Fox resurgence just reaffirms my beliefs. However, they are a good player away, particularly a scorer.

Phoenix Suns 2K maturation!
Conceptually, I really like what the Suns have done and what they aspire to be. The 2K maturation process is a long and arduous journey. Simons getting the nod is another step towards competing.

Portland Trail Blazers LeBron James!

The most frustrating process will conclude in a months time, with the King finding his way to Oregon. The city will shut down for the entire weekend to acknowledge the significance of the event.

Sacramento Kings Chemistry and a big!
The Kings continue to tinker and Klemm continues to regret, despite all the prayers. However, fresh of a domination of the great Nuggets team, have they finally found the sweet spot? They need more size.

San Antonio Spurs Nothing!

Gee, it must be nice to roll up to opposing floors and beat teams by 60+ points. Giannis showing he is the best player in the league and that no one builds teams better than Nelso does. Spurs continue to Spur.

Toronto Raptors Time in the lab and Zion health!

Dylan is a 2K genius. He has shot his shot with his trades and has a roster he loves. Zion holds it all together, and he has looked much healthier. Dyl will keep finding ways to maximise his team, forever.

Utah Jazz Nothing!
The Beal FA coup will remain one of the all-time events in FA history. The Jazz have already reaped the benefits, adding immense value to their franchise and not impacting winning in the process.

Washington Wizards Health!
The Wizards havent been able to show what they can do due to constant injuries and revolving availabilities. Despite this, they are still top of the East. Dipo, Green and co. need to get right!
