NSL Insider - Premium: NSL Chinese Proverbs

by jessedunne, updated on Monday, December 20 2021, 06:38 am EST

We all love a good Chinese take away and the meal always ends with a fortune cookie. Will we find happiness in a new love or should we stick with our wives ?

Lets take a look at a few of the Big NSL Teams Fortune cookies for the coming weeks:

Portland:
A little impatience will spoil great plans. Happiness will come in the form of a trade. You are never content, and the shadow of injury looms over you. Reach out, seek guidance and move Kawhi to become the true contender you crave.

Wizards:
Talk does not cook rice. Your inner soul was ripe with happiness after moving on KAT for Embiid. I foresee loneliness and emptiness after another early round exit. Too much talk, not enough cooking rice for Washington at the moment.

Spurs:
A fall into a ditch makes you wiser. A few losses for the Spurs, including to their arch rivals The Blazers may be just what Nelson needed. Active at the trade table. The spurs will be primmed for a big playoff run again.

Magic:
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. An impressive week finally. Winning some games is the first step back. They have a long way to go. But this first step towards playoffs began in Week 7. Note it down in the lunar calendar.

Pistons:
Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without one. The pistons have a few flaws at the moment. Kyrie is Sheed's diamond. sure he is flawed. But if he comes back, hes better than a pebble without one. Detroit at full strength will be hard to beat.

Celtics:
A closed mind is like a closed book; just a block of wood. So determined to lose. This closed book may have missed the chance to make a playoff run and finally enjoy some success. Another season of being a block of wood it is.

Lakers:
The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is today. This team needed help years ago, but the next best thing is to plant a tree today. Lakers need direction and leadership fast. Can Justin provide it?

Kings:
In a group of many words, there is bound to be a mistake somewhere in them. Klemm says a lot but these words have mistakes. Has he finally talked himself and the league into believing in these dogged kings ?

Clippers:
Listening well is as powerful as talking well, and is also as essential to true conversation. All the Clips do is listen, with no talking back at all. No one hears from Andrew. But it is working. Clips are rolling.

Charlotte:
One beam, no matter how big, cannot support an entire house on its own. Chris Paul's thoughts without Luca. Hornets are best team in the east. But are going to lose some games with their star out.

Dallas:
The more acquaintances you have, the less you know them. LJ talks to everyone and anyone on discord. But does he really know any of them. A lot of trade talks that fizzle to nothing. Are Dallas better off focusing on just one or two trades.

Warriors:
If you want to find out about the road ahead, then ask about it from those coming back. A tough start to the season. But they know the hard road and are on the way back after 7 wins in a row. Impressive stuff.

Denver:
Genius can be recognized by its childish simplicity. Its simple. Get the ball to Steph. Brilliant as it is Simple.

Wolves:
Small men think they are small; great men never know they are great. Do the wolves finally know they are great? Ethan still isnt sure. But trust me, they are great.

Bulls:
Solve one problem, and you keep a hundred others away. Merencio just keeps on winning. Maybe not as deep or talented Bulls team as the past. But just keep solving the problem of winning games and you are fine.

Jazz:
It is easy to open a store - the hard part is keeping it open. The Jazz found wins easy to come by early. Now they are really struggling. Perhaps on purpose. But the store is closed indefinitely.

Bucks:
A wise man makes his own decisions, but an ignorant man mindlessly follows the crowd. Daz came in and stopped following the tanking crowd and made his own decisions. And what a decision it was. The bucks are now rolling and everyone in Milwaukee couldn't be happier.

Miami:
If you want to avoid being cheated, ask for prices at three different stores. The Heat are keen to trade and rumors are some deals are done. They have been sure to ask around to a lot of people, so they will not be cheated.
