NSL Insider - NSL Insider: League Pass Potentialby jmac, updated on Monday, November 01 2021, 11:19 am EST
Some
teams styles, despite being successful in winning basketball, just
dont produce the hyped plays that others do. A lot of the time, it
can come down to individual players lifting the whole team up to the
League Pass level with their mercurial talents.
Lets look at some of my choices of the teams you dont want to miss when their game is live: Obvious
choice, obviously. I am terrified to play against this team. Even with
three pointers taking a few nerf darts to the groin, the Nuggets will
lead the league in three pointers made and three-point percentage,
purely based on just how wide open their shooters will be, because of
all of their shooters. Its like the egg and the chicken both came
first with this team.
Its
poetic. Shooting talent promotes shooting frequency which promotes
better shooting looks which equates to better shooting. What
makes this team not only a true contender, but the MVP for League Pass
Potential, is what their shooters can do Stephen Curry, obviously
one of the most talented players of all time. Klay Thompson, a surgeon
off the ball and terminator from three. Michael Porter Jr, a blossoming
scoring star in the league, as smooth a scorer as we have when he is on.
Surrounding them is a team of players who can be effective from the
outside. The court looks extra wide when the Nuggets play. Its not
fair. But its a TV affair I wont miss.
This
team was built to shoot and score and might have the best spacing in
the league. Yes, Gavin hates me, for the indirect and unintentional
negative effects of my actions, but I still love him and more topically,
how he has built this roster. From what I can gather, every line-up
will feature at least three great three-point shooters, paired with
players that complement the shooters. Not only does this equate to high
scoring, frequent treys and highlight plays, but it will also bring
wins. Shooting + talent (see Trae Young) is the recipe for
success in modern basketball. What lineup am I most looking forward to seeing (the roster is even better looking than I remembered)? It would have to be Trae Young, Jeff Green, Tobias Harris, Lauri Markannen, Kevin Love. Make it happen, plz!
And
even when it doesnt work (and therell be shockers), that will
still be fun to watch the carnage. Like someone falling down the stairs
and mildly hurting themselves.
Atlanta Hawks I
cant think Hawks without thinking of Joel Embiid, and just how much I
didnt like that trade. Having gotten that out of the way, Ive
loved everything Ben has done since, and I think hes more comfortable
in the GM saddle currently than he has been in the past (he would have
been immortalised with a statue if he had pulled off the DeRozan heist).
The Hawks roster is packed with talent and exciting young players.
Turner, Bagley, Hunter, Green and Reddish will be trouble for every team
in the league. Their bench mob all have starter potential, too.
Golden State Warriors Dubs-nation!
The Warriors have been fairly subdued in their movements over the first
two seasons, maintaining the status quo for the most part. However, I
am thrilled to announce that theyve made a big push this off-season,
and with the talent they have added, they could top the list of
‘winners from the off-season. |
