Basketball is about putting the ball into a circle and scoring more points than your opponent. But in Detroit the rule is: Don't let the opponent score more points than you. Alongside Simons who has also been having a porr shooting they were the hope of scoring from outside.

It’s not easy to score points against Detroit, 35% in opponent field goals and 28% from 3pts again the best in the league. Rebouds are no problem, Detroit is the second in the league in rebounds per game, behind Wizards, because KAT. Gobert, Bam, Thompson and Poetl are a complete beast inside.

The biggest defensive factors are the starting lineup with Gobert and Bam Adebayo as the best defensive bigs in the league. The person who said he didn't believe this duo should play together should never again make comments about basketball in his life. The duo that was the biggest factor in Detroit's run to the playoffs was left off the list of the best trios in the league, an unforgettable embarrassment for Pistons fans. The arrival of Iguodala, DFS and the still injured Dillon Brooks have improved the perimeter defense in a way that I can say this is the best in the league. The veteran Iguodala held James Harden last week with 8 points in 43 minutes giving former champ gm nightmares at night. One of the reasons Iguodala is an elite defender is because of his 6 foot 11 wingspan. Combine that with his level of atheleticsm and ability to move his feet, makes him one of he best in the NSL. He also is usually assigned the task of guarding the other’s team best player. Whether it has been Lebron James, Durrant, James Harden or even Lillard, Iguodala has not been intimated. Defense is finally back and Pistons will exploit that to the fullest during the season. Even if it's in the most horrific way possible, that's the way it's going to be. We will build a wall with their bricks.
