Ziaire is probably the only low rated player. The rest of the 9 guys in the rotation are 79 rated players and above. These are all guys with playoff experience in the NBA and are 3rd man types at the lowest. The LA Clippers team, on the other hand, is filled with borderline G League player types and guys who were in the G League at some point of the season. But they have a superstar. And that superstar has carried this team of prospects to the 5th spot in the western conference. Key Injuries to Watch Domantas Sabonis � Sabonis was out for the end of the season. But he said that he was feeling �healthy� and �feeling good� as he headed into the offseason. He wanted to return before the end of the season, but the Clippers� medical staff and he eventually decided against it. Marcus Smart, Derrick White, and OG Anunoby are all key players playing valuable playoff minutes in the NBA. The Clippers entire bench are players who can barely get minutes in the NBA. When these guys step on the court is when the Grizzlies can capitalize the most. X-Factors LA Clippers � Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Grizzlies� primary weakness is a god-like superstar like Giannis. Whenever the Grizzlies lose, it�s normally because there is a 90+ player on the other side of the court. How far can Giannis carry a team full of G Leaguers? I�ll give you a hint, he�s been doing it all season. Memphis Grizzlies � Grizzlies� depth. The Clippers team is pretty much 3 guys and bunch of G Leaguers. The Grizzlies will have to capitalize with their other 7 players in the rotation who will duke it out with these G League types whenever they step on the court. Rootsey has to punish Andrew for trying to field G League players in a competitive playoff game. |
