Folks, it has been a pleasure. After two decades in the game (NSL and NLL), I feel like it is time for me to finally step away.
It's not easy, and writing these words does make me sad. But over the last few months my heart simply wasn't in it any more as it has been for a long time. Even the upcoming draft isn't getting my blood pumping as it used to.
When vt and I started the original project in 2001, no one could have forseen what would become of it. That it would bring people together from all over the world and keep them engaged for as long as it did and still does. I'm really, really happy about that.
Unlike last year when we jumped ship from the other league, I know things are in good hands here. Both from a community and technical standpoint. Laddas and his team will continue to grow and improve this site. Thanks a lot guys, for continuing what I do kind of consider my legacy.
I will stay in touch and will certainly check in once in a while. If you ever need any help with anything, you know how to reach me.
Thanks again to all of you for the countless hours spent in your marvelous company. I hope someone will lead my Jazz to a title sometime soon.
And who knows what the future will bring. Maybe I will be back one day.
