We are 10 weeks into the 20 week regular season of the NSL, which means we have reached the halfway point. After some ups and downs, lefts and rights, it seems like the Indy GM has finally chosen a path for the franchise and so far, it looks very promising. So let's take a quick look at the future of the Indiana Pacers.

Victor Wembanyama, Scoot Henderson and Keegen Murray, the brand new core 3 of the Indiana Pacers. After an up and down season filled with injuries, GM Yeet felt it was time to look towards the future. After a half season stint, James Harden was sent off to greener pastures along with JSJ and WCJ. While it was painful to say goodbye, it was also a pleasure to welcome the new fellas.

Scoot Henderson was the 2nd overall pick behind Wemby in the most recent draft. With a chance to finally show what he can do, Scoot looks primed to be the starting PG of the future with the Pacers. A duo of Scoot and Wemby could be disastrous for the league if both players reach their full potential, but for right now, its just about making a name for yourself.

Keegen Murray, the idea wing in todays world of basketball. At 6-8, 215lbs, hes a sniper from outside who can pass, rebound and defend all at a high level for only being a second year. He will be the glue that keeps this team together with his all around play, and should mend perfectly as a third star with this team for years to come.
Pascal Siakam isnt young, but hes good. Hes a solid all around player and an elite defender, siakam is a star level player that just has yet to find the right home. Could that be Indy? Maybe. But as of right now Indy is in rebuild mode and potentially signing a 29 year old to a max contract isnt super appealing, so Indy will be on the phones up till the deadline hoping to move him for some young players and picks to add around the core 3, and if no deal is found? Expect Siakam to be moved to a S&T this offseason.
Keldon Johnson is an undersized wing with an oversized heart. He plays 110% on a nightly basis and can be a threat when not taken seriously. Johnson is on a team friendly team the next couple seasons and should be a key contributor for the foreseeable future as a 3-D wing who can help this team run and gun.
Ayo Dosumo is having a great young season, and his defense is improving on a nightly basis. With his increase in playing time and more offensive responsibility, he is set to become a vital offensive threat for this team as a big body scoring guard for this team. If he continues to improve throughout the rest of the season, it wouldnt be surprising to see him and Nesmith duke it out for the starting SG spot next season.
Aaron Nesmith is the teams local sharpshooter. Considered a top 3pt shooter in the league, Nesmith had a rocky start to the season, but over the last couple weeks has finally come around, seeing the rest of his game benefit as well. After signing a 4 year extension this past offseason, Nesmith has become a crucial part of this team's offense and will be for a long time.
Goga Bitazde is an Indiana Pacer after some unforeseen circumstances, but we are extremely happy to have him. A young and strong center, Goga is going to fight tooth and nail for every rebound the game has to offer. It also does help with that fact hes an elite shot blocker, giving Indiana 48 minutes of great rim protection. Goga is expiring this season, but dont expect Indy to let him walk, as hes seen as a key piece of this team moving forward.
This team had playoff aspirations at the start of the season, after some unforeseen events and a night not worth remembering, those aspirations disappeared. However after some smart moves and good dealings, this team is set for the future and will only get better. The best is yet to come as they say.
