Nenjabin 12/06/23 12:41 am | Can extend 6 months after the trade, unless he takes same or less money and less years before.
Nels 12/05/23 11:48 am | It would be pretty funny if he retired. Throw money away.
Rootsey 12/05/23 10:19 am | Im just trying to stir the pot. I think the Jrue retire stuff is old news ;-)
Nels 12/05/23 07:16 am | Everything I've read was saying April is when they can discuss an extension.
Dylan 12/05/23 05:48 am | Jrue was thinking of retiring from Milwaukee, apparently, he's been talking about extending in Boston because they have a longer title window.
Nels 12/05/23 03:24 am | Imagine he opts out of $36 mil and retires. Lol.
Bulldog63 12/05/23 02:29 am | I didn't know that about jrue, if that is a risk then yeah that changes it a little bit.
Rootsey 12/04/23 11:52 pm | Wasn't Jrue thinking of retiring? Hard to resign when he's at home with the family.
Nels 12/04/23 11:30 pm | No idea what the future holds for harden but Id say he stays in LA for a fair amount of $$ and Yeet likely keeps him unless he gets too drunk and sleeps through FA day again. It was pretty simple for us, improve defensively, put the ball in Gianniss hands more and get a guy that probably extends come April for less than a max (hopefully). Reading the league it felt like two way guys are harder to find and trade for, where as scorers can be found and traded for or some level of scoring can be put together with good shooting role players. We will definitely take a hit offensively but I think we will be really good defensively. If Giannis rests we will stink haha
Bulldog63 12/04/23 09:13 pm | I think it depends on what his next contract looks like. Do people think he's getting another max deal? I don't really.
pistolpk 12/04/23 12:36 pm | Indy wins a few games with harden, a number of things go in their favor in the formula, they will be 1 of a few teams that can bid on Harden, making it still a low risk of leaving in the NSL.
Bulldog63 12/01/23 09:44 pm | They said it's the whole thing. I'm not sure how I feel about it for the pacers, just depends on what the plan is. Harden is a risk to leave whereas jrue I see as a lock to take his PO, but if the goal is to clear salary for next season then the pacers got that. Maybe a trade like we saw in the NBA, with jrue for futures and filler salary, just wasn't in the cards for them.
Joshua 12/01/23 10:51 am | Is there more to this or is this the whole thing? |
