In a decent contest, Minnesota got up for the win scoring 105 points compared to Los Angeles who finished on 95 points. The game was still within reach for both teams, Minnesota managed to make the right plays down the stretch, with Los Angeles left wanting. In the battle of the boards, Minnesota got up, pulling down 59 rebounds, compared to Los Angeles with 32 rebounds. J. Valanciunas was awesome today, and deserved the Player of the game, scoring a handy 15 points while in the process ripping down 20 rebounds and handing out 6 assists. Look for Los Angeles to regroup after this one and bring a little bit extra in their next contest.
