The OKC 2024
At the start of the Oklahoma City Thunder's 2024 season, it was a rocky beginning after engaging with other teams to make trades in order to improve after last year's loss in the playoff's losing to last year's 2023 champion team San Antonio Spurs.
Changes needed to happen in order to be a contender for this year 2024 playoffs.
Last year was a good season for our team but not good enough and we aim for our team to go for the win this year.
The biggest change we had for this team to make quite a big difference; it was obtaining Trae Young into Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Oklahoma City Thunder had needed another star player, and this trade was met with the Toronto Raptors in the offseason.
Confidence was met to be a contender for the 2024 playoff's however at the start of the season was loss after loss beginning with 5 straight losses.
More changes had to be done trading picks and players with multiple other teams in order to be a contender.
From week four to week six were filled with losses and some wins.
More things needed to be changed during the break.
Trades were done, as were position changes, swap arounds, style of play etc.
Practice after testing after hours of changes, an agreeable switch was set.
After the break starting up again on the 08/01/24 after multiple changes there have been 7 straight wins showing the Oklahoma City fans that this team is not over for the playoffs for this year however plenty more work needs to be done.
Oklahoma City Thunder's star player Anthony Edwards, position was changed to small forward, showing more potential with higher output, shooting splits and more steals.
We have full expectations that Anthony Edwards will only continue to improve game by game.
Now with our inclusion with Caruso, Hueter was moved off the starting bench.
Caruso continues to impress our team and has made a difference.
There could be potentially more trades in the coming season, more changes to adapt to with other contenders.
We hope to see more wins in the future and hoping to continue the streak with these changes.
