Smooth Klemm Storytime...

Evenin' Good Sirs!! ..And of course M'Lady (*Tips hat*)...

Couldn't trouble yah for a couple of lousy GM's for the cause Ey??

Help an old NSL Veteran, down on his luck, get a warm meal and a place to lay his weary head for the night?

I swears to yah… Promise I won't just go blow it all down at the trade market. Those days are long gone, I've learned me lesson. Swear it on me life my friend… Please…

Yah know what?... I'll even tell ya some tales from 'back in the day'. Stories of the dark days of the dreaded NLL Age, full of corrupt rulers and shady acts of treason, rigged drafts and questionable trade veto's… Even some stories of the Rebellion from 'Down Under' giving rise to the Golden Age of NSL!?!...

Better yet, I can treat you to the legends of past Kings and short lived post-season glory! T'was a Kingdom once blessed with vast glitch riches, an unwavering Discord presence and studio quality, high production podcast content!!!...

'A sleeping Giant lays dormant. Once a terrifying figure, both feared and revered. Who's name once echoed throughout the deepest of valleys, soaring over the highest mountain ranges that danced across the harsh, baron sands that fill every desert. A name that rang from shore to shore, rattling over the roughest of seas and through the trees of the most densest of forests.

Such a name was once recognized as true royalty, both shouted throughout the chaos of bloody battlefields… Whispered in secret, hidden within the darkest of corners present in every city… Muttered in passing by the lowest of peasants, while proclaimed and celebrated by decorated Knights and prestigious Scholars alike. Once a mainstay across all the lands, how quickly they forget… Memories already faded and dismissed, much like myths and childhood fairytales… When only the 'Elders' care to remember as they recount past era's… Just a footnote in time; As these stories from a distant lifetime ago, fall on the deaf ears of children living in the present.

The Sun will break each morning unaffected, same as the last… Eventually relieved by it's ancient counterpart as the Moon ascends to remind us of the end of 'Just another day'. Another day where good men advise and council the Kings that will forever rise and fall. All Legacy's built off the back of the fractured foundation left by the last. Foundations full of savagery and violence; Carried out by God fearing Men. Men who spilled the blood of their enemies, in the mud of distant lands conquered. Their Mothers left behind to bare and raise Sons… All for the sake of 'Just another King' that will be their replacement. Another King to again lay claim to all of these legacies and fame. Just another day, another forgotten father slain who came before them…

Forever fickle in time as the generations roll on under the current Kings banner. Banners that don't inevitably matter, only remembered by the latter. Any second in time that could mark the very day that will forever oversee…  Every empire eventually crumbles. Those once considered Royalty, for even the most 'established' of names wither as the day passes. The faux might of enforced titles by the entitled, hollow of all meaning when met by the end of a sword. Wielded in the name of justice, often fueled by the desperate vengeance of the people they've scorned.

The fabled King will once again rise... Rise towards relevance scribed within the history books that portray significant times....'
