It has been quiet in Portland for some time now. Are there any deals on the horizon? With training camp approaching, are players impressing, or disappointing, in their pursuit for playing time and roles? Here is what our sources have scrounged up:


Portland adding a guard?
Team sources state �Portland have been in talks to add even further guard depth; two-for-one deals have been explored with multiple teams, with mutual interest. Nothing concrete yet in terms of specific details, but talks are progressing.�

A league �insider� claims that the �main players, assets being spoken about in the deals are Seth Curry, Derrick Favors and future pick assets.�


Cole Anthony interest heating up?
Cole Anthony has already become a fan favourite in Portland; with his highlight dunks, his entertaining personality (and his willingness to do interviews), and extra-curricular activities amongst the community, what�s not to love? However, a rival team insider-source has posted the following information regarding Cole:

�I am hearing that one Western Conference team loves Cole, and is trying to do everything they can to get him across. Portland are not completely interested for now, but both teams are exploring possible three-way moves that might get each team what they need. Otherwise, expect Cole to start the season in Portland, with a decent role.�
