2022-2023 Cleveland Cavalier Guards

Guards:

PG Dejounte Murray: Murray will be a focal point of ours this season as hes show he can do a little bit of everything, but just needs to do it on a bigger level. We love the defense and playmaking he provides and know he isnt the best at scoring, but we hope he can provide that as well. Murray is still pretty young and on a very nice contract, we are hoping what he can provide is a brand of winning basketball and do the small things for us. His fit alongside McCollum is perfect for what we want.

SG CJ McCollum: McCollum was another player we got this offseason to try and help us make some noise this next year. He will carry a large load of our scoring and be a key part of our success, he signed an extension with us not too long ago, so were happy he enjoys Cleveland and is ready to be apart of our team for a while. McCollum will man the ship as the leader being the star veteran.

PG Delon Wright: Wright will be out for a little bit of the year due to an injury he has, but we really feel like he will be a great option to have off the bench. He is defensive minded and he will be a great substitute to give Murray a rest when needed.

PG: Blake Wesley: Wesley is our 2022 1st round pick and we like the kid a lot. He has tremendous upside and looked good in practice up until his injury. Its an injury that will leave him out for a little while, but we sure are glad its not a season ending injury.

SG: Josh Christopher: Christopher was sent over alongside McCollum in a deal this offseason and we have high expectations for him. He will likely get many minutes while Wright and Wesley are injured so we hope he can show us the potential we see in him.
