Roster almost set
This offseason was a pretty busy one, and it feels like everything is starting to settle down. We have our starting lineup set, and only one roster spot left. We received some negative feedback from the fans after a perceived rocky start to the offseason, but we feel the team is in a great place to possibly make some noise. We wanted to make sure we retain our own pick as the Eastern Conference is stacked this upcoming season. We have a very solid team, but could miss on the playoffs because of the strength of conference. The team is both young and have some good veterans so we have the opportunity to go any way with this team, it will be something we analyze as the season goes on. A recent trade we made was sending Devonte Graham and Luke Kennard to Houston for Davis Bertans and Kelly Olynyk. This trade helps us bolster the depth at the big man position. We have Daniel Gafford and Brandon Clarke starting at the 4 and 5 which are viable options, but are the weakest part of our starting lineup. The trade for Bertans and Olynyk brought in 2.8 million more in salary, which would be seen as a negative for most, but this brings us above the cap giving us the full MLE. That is the money were going to use for our last roster spot and help bolster the bench unit even more. In this offseason we brought in a big 3 for our team of CJ McCollum, Dejounte Murray, and Mikal Bridges which we love the fit of, Bridges and Murray complement the defense to McCollums scoring. The offseason is about over for trades besides one of our two-way players being on the move because we only have 2 spots. Before the season we will try and go in depth on the roster for the upcoming season
