Boston Woes
The disappointing season continues for the Boston Celtics
who are still unable to find any traction or form heading into the business end
of the season.
They are currently on a four game losing streak and have
been without their cornerstone in Jayson Tatum. Thankfully he will be back next
week, but at this point in time with the standings looking like they do, every
game for the Celtics is crucial.
Boston are currently on the cusp of the play in and could definitely
be a danger team if they manage to stay in, but the way things are looking at
this stage, them getting knocked out isn’t out of the realms of possibility.
The only bright spot of late has been Cam Whitmore. Due to
injuries he was able to secure himself more minutes and was able to have a big
impact off the bench.
He has know found himself starting and continues to score
the ball. That was without Tatum, so lets see how they go playing next to each
other. Not the most reliable defender, which is what Boston have tried to line
up next to Tatum and Garland, but has the athletic tools to be competitive.
The injuries to Boston cherished young bucks have continued.
GM is still scorned from the McCain season ending knee injury, and still finds
himself watching his youtube highlights in the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately
the next to get bitten by this bug is Jaylen Wells. Wells who has shocked
everyone after being drafted in the second round and being one of the top
rookies this year has fractured his wrist after a nasty fall.
He will heal up fine it looks, but he will also be done for
the year.
Lets see if the Celtics and the GM can find any crumbs of
dignity and start to perform how many expected them to.
