Portland made the difficult decision to trade superstar guard Damian Lillard, just months after acquiring him during the off-season. NSL Twitter has been going crazy at the surprising news that one, Lillard is on the move again, and two, that Portland downgraded a superstar.

In what appears to be a jarring move by the Blazers� Front Office, Lillard, who was averaging almost thirty points per game, is packing his bags for the Eastern Conference. Lillard will now lead the Knicks in their pursuit for playoff glory. In return for the superstar guard, the Blazers received Chris Paul (who is currently healing from a broken hand), Derrick White, Walker Kessler and three first round picks. Portland sent to the Knicks, along with Damian Lillard, Zeke Nnaji, James Bouknight and four second round picks.

Damian Lillard�s agent said the star was �shocked� to hear he had been traded already by Portland, after the team tried hard to woo him during the off-season. Lillard wasted no time in getting out of the facility after hearing the trade news, appearing agitated and confused.

Lebron James, the Blazers captain and one of the greatest players of all time, is said to have approved the moves, as Portland tries to build a more defensive, gritty team of players to complement Lebron.

Chris Paul needs no introduction - the Point God, he is still one of the more crafty, intelligent players in the game, continuing to make his teammates better and play efficient basketball.

Derrick White continues to go under the radar for most NSL fans. However, White is one of the better two-way players in the league, with an emphasis on defense.

Speaking of defense, Portland is excited to welcome young big man Walker Kessler. Kessler, already one of the best shot blockers and paint protectors in the league, joins a logjam at C but appears to have the inside track to try and win the starting spot.

Portland, still winning, but in flux.
