New Look Cavs
After the trades we have made, we have brought in Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum, Daniel Gafford, Chuma Okeke, Zeke Nnaji, Luke Kennard, Josh Christopher, and Vernon Carey Jr. We feel as though this team is built well for the future as well as to have success now. Dejounte and CJ will bring elite guard play and two stars to our team which we feel is a need for a winning team. Gafford will really help us at center as he played really well with Orlando last season. Okeke could be a great 3nD player for us and he still has more potential to grow as he�s still young. Zeke Nnaji will help us out with front court depth and we really like him as a prospect, if he is able to stay healthy we feel he could be a big part of this franchise. Luke Kennard will help us with depth at the wing and provide shooting. Christopher and Carey Jr are project players who we think could be productive NBA players.
We want to thank all of the now former Cavs who were sent out, Jarrett Allen, Al Horford, Andrew Wiggins, and Matisse Thybulle provided lots of production that led the Cavs to the 2nd round this past season. We feel as if Wiggins and Horford are not in our long term plans as a team, and Jarrett Allen being traded was the result of feeling we needed more guard play and the elite guard defense of Dejounte Murray. Thybulle was the result of picking up a prospect we like in Okeke as well as a 1st round pick. We will also miss Davion Mitchell and Alex Caruso who played well for us at guard this past season, we like Mitchell, but he provided us the opportunity to obtain Gafford who we really like to fill in for Jarrett Allen. Caruso�s defense will be missed, but he helped us get McCollum.
