In a decent contest, Miami got up for the win scoring 111 points compared to Portland who finished on 106 points. The game was still within reach for both teams, Miami managed to make the right plays down the stretch, with Portland left wanting. In the battle of the boards, Miami got up, pulling down 45 rebounds, compared to Portland with 40 rebounds. K. Porter Jr. was awesome today, and deserved the Player of the game, scoring a handy 38 points while in the process ripping down 4 rebounds and handing out 0 assists. Look for Portland to regroup after this one and bring a little bit extra in their next contest.
