In a decent contest, Portland got up for the win scoring 108 points compared to Detroit who finished on 104 points. The game was still within reach for both teams, Portland managed to make the right plays down the stretch, with Detroit left wanting. In the battle of the boards, Detroit got up, pulling down 51 rebounds, compared to Portland with 39 rebounds. J. Ivey was awesome today, and deserved the Player of the game, scoring a handy 28 points while in the process ripping down 5 rebounds and handing out 7 assists. Look for Detroit to regroup after this one and bring a little bit extra in their next contest.
