Utah Jazz - Power Ranking

All Rankings
Week 20#12Rating 658-5

Beanie Babies - This wasn't one that i ever got in to, but i know many others did. Just another thing for kids to collect and parents to waste, i mean spend their money on.

Week 19#10Rating 688-5

The Jazz have had a remarkable turnaround on paper, but in reality should never have been where they were in the first place. All they needed was a GM that cared, and knew a little more about on court stuff. Craig took over from the ailing Jazz and now they have locked up a Play In spot, with outside chance to push into a not Play In spot. If Embiid is indeed set to play right out of the gate in the playoffs, too, then this team with it's reinvented line up which saw Wagner, Porzingis and even Daniels exit the team are going to be a problem to behold with a nice mix of offence, and vet defense which could see them make some waves.

Week 18#12Rating 628-4

I have a big heart and I wear it on my sleeve. I like to try new things, take on new ventures and I don’t look in the rearview mirror more than a glimpse. I make lots of changes, keep things fresh. You can only change what is in front of you. I have recently made a big move into a new role that has me feeling lighter and hopeful. I appreciate conversations about philosophy and people.

Week 16#9Rating 709-4

The Octagon - Disciplined and structured. Not always exciting, but tough to break down.

Week 15#14Rating 618-5

Harry Potter - "You're a wizard, Harry." Young, talented and still figuring out the full extent of their powers with their new GM. Like Harry arriving at Hogwarts for the first time, this team has a roster that sometimes surprises even their own GM, a big night appears seemingly out of nowhere, a trade casts a spell on the scoring total. Not yet polished or healthy enough to beat the Voldemorts of the league in a head-to-head but the raw talent is undeniable. Give this team another year of development and some experience from their GM and they're going to be seriously dangerous.

Week 14#8Rating 739-4

The Consistent Performer: New GM, new identity, but still anchored by Joel Embiid and James Harden. There’s structure now, direction, and serious intent. The classroom feels like it’s building toward something big. If anyone can regain this organisation's profile, it's Craig. "The class needed a new face and energy - we are so lucky here," current student reflection said.

Week 13#20Rating 366-6

Dyson FOR Bey/1st. There's a bunch of deals made by both GMs of the Jazz I could choose from. I'd prefer to focus on the now with Craig at the helm. The obvious shift in direction and intent as soon as he stepped in the door needs to be highlighted. Every Aussie in this league, of course has a soft spot for Dyson and his talents... But let's be real, in terms of his impact in game I think he's just one of 'those guys' that may very well never translate across in full. Something I know for a fact a guy like Craig is well aware of. So do get a guy of similar value in Bey along with a first is good dealing. Bey will always be far more '2K friendly' and his size and versatility offers so much more then that of a specialist like Daniels.

Week 12#22Rating 215-7

Ignored when you give way - You are driving down the street and there is a car parked on the side of the road and another one approaching you. There is not enough room for you both to continue so out of the kindness of your heart you stop and give way. The other vehicle passes and instead of giving you a wave or even just raising one finger off the steering wheel you get nothing. Not a single sign of gratitude or decency. Not only is this disheartening about where did society go wrong, it is also quite infuriating, leaving me no choice but to curse the other driver out and feel bitterness for a short time. This kinda sums up Utah and their old GM, Jason. Becoming angry and bitter til the very end. We wish him well and hope their New GM Craig and uplift the spirits.

Week 11#30Rating -241-11

Utah's struggles have been immense. Injuries and 2nd apron hell have made it difficult to improve mid-season. With a new GM in town, already active in reshaping this roster, I find it hard to imagine that the Jazz will see many more weeks at the bottom of the power rankings.

Week 10#30Rating -201-11

Rocky (1976) (honorary NSL classic) – they didn’t have the season they wanted, but they survived it. Every night was a fight, every matchup felt tough… yet somehow they kept showing up, swinging, refusing to fold. And GM Jason leaves with his pride and his head held high. GM Jason - "All I wanted to do, was go the distance..." And he did. Enjoy fatherhood, Jason.

Week 9#30Rating -141-11

Another team that will turn it around as long as health is fine. A 8 game losing stream is diabolical, but Joel will be back soon and once he's back next to James Hard and Franz Wagner, good luck.

Week 8#29Rating -111-11

Kid Who Gets Caught Up In Bad Crowd- It's been a tough run for this kid and he might be squandering his potential sitting this low in the standings. He has so much potential but has surrounded himself with a rough crowd that have him with all sorts of bad habits taking away from his schooling. It's not all doom and gloom but this former A-student needs a wakeup call to get his life back on track and become the incredible man we all believe he can be.

Week 7#26Rating 234-8

Droopy - Always trying, rarely threatening. Competes hard but lacks star shot creation. A team that has all of the threats to be top of this list, the Jazz have slid like the cheeks of Droopy. Does this remain, or is their a face-lift waiting to occur from inside or outside the organisation?

Week 6#20Rating 426-6

Hanging by a Moment – Lifehouse Emotional, urgent, and gripping, it embodies moments of tension and reliance on key opportunities. The theme is vulnerability and focus, paralleling a team fighting for crucial victories or facing decisive challenges. Another team that is battling through injuries, Jasons hair and patience is just holding on with this team

Week 5#8Rating 678-4

Week 4#7Rating 668-4

Far: The Jazz echo Far in the way their roster blends raw power with emotional volatility, always flirting with something greater than what consistently shows up. Emerging in the early 90s Sacramento scene, Far were heavy without being metallic, melodic without being soft, built on thick, grinding guitars, dynamic shifts, and Jonah Matranga’s expressive, almost strained vocal delivery. They were respected, influential, and quietly ahead of their time, yet never fully rewarded with sustained mainstream success. Utah feels similar. When Joel Embiid is available, he tilts the floor like few players in the league. James Harden, even at this stage, can still control tempo and shoulder offensive responsibility. Kristaps Porziņģis raises the ceiling when healthy, while Franz Wagner and Austin Reaves give the team real momentum toward the future. The talent is real and the structure makes sense, but rarely is Utah able to stay fully intact long enough to reach their highest ceiling. Like Far, the Jazz are compelling not because they dominate headlines, but because when everything clicks, you can clearly hear what they could have been all along.

Week 3#14Rating 567-5

The Devil: Represents temptation, unhealthy attachments, fear, or illusion. A call to break free from self-imposed chains. There is no easy way to say it - there is a looming spectre slowly creeping towards the snow-capped mountains of Utah. Embiid looks grounded, the finances are sky-high, and the chemistry is inconsistent, despite having arguable the most talent in the league. Will jas make a move or is he attached to this squad?

Week 2#9Rating 395-3

The Utah Jazz sitting at #9 is impressive, but let’s be honest — this is all powered by James Harden playing like he’s on his fourth ‘I swear I’m serious this time’ redemption arc. Utah fans are praying he doesn’t discover the nightlife scene in Salt Lake City, because the moment he does, this whole experiment turns into a Netflix true crime documentary.

Week 1#16Rating 142-2

Childhood Reference: The last kid picked, but he can actually hoop. Everyone doubted him—but James Harden shows up with the stepbacks and suddenly, Utah is no joke. "What can he do!?" Don't make him mad! The Jazz are in snooze mode currently, but do not question their pedigree. They are a titan and have an impeccable roster. Untapped. Ready to hurt you - like that last kid picked! "Hey! Why didn't you pick him!?"
