GI Joes - The classic boys action figure. This is the evolution of the classic army man, which still had its place in the toy box, but GI Joes were next level, getting interchangeable weapons and accessories. Action Men followed on from this, which were bigger and I guess more realistic. Where Action Men just in Australia?
Orlando Magic - Power Ranking
All RankingsOrlando have struggled this past 3 weeks to only a 5-9 record and this is all while supposedly trying to win. Luckily, the teams around them were in tank mode so that they will hold onto that Play In spot and have a chance to right the wrongs, but the talent level has decreased in Orlando and they're more of a rebuilder, so we don't expect them to get too far this year. New year, new outlook, and a better book balance, the Magic are right for the future.

Hero and the Terror - Capable of both—depends which version shows up on the night.
Seinfeld - "No soup for you." A show about nothing, except it turned out to be about everything. This team on paper shouldn't be this good. Their best player isn't a household name, their schedule is brutal and nobody took them seriously post draft. And yet here they are, a top-seven team, somehow making you laugh while they pick your pockets. Like George Costanza stumbling into success through sheer stubbornness of doing the opposite, this team refuses to lose with any dignity and it works out perfectly every single time. Yada yada yada, they're winning again.
The Encouraging Mentor: From bottom of the class to thriving - this turnaround is all about smart, calculated moves. Like a team rebuilt piece by piece, this teacher has created a culture of steady improvement and belief. Even after leaves their class, they still have impact, think Coach Carter levels of influence. "GM Mailo just gets me,"
Kyrie/Ziaire/1st FOR Miller/Strus/D.Wade/2x 1sts. Mailo has and always will be a quiet achiever, working behind the scenes for the most part, keeping to herself. The fact of the matter is she IS a certified OG of this league and although it’s not her style to be coming in hot on the constant, full of faux bravado and testosterone… I love seeing the Magic really turning a corner as of late. I’m pretty high on Miller to be honest. His stock along with the NBA Hornets; Seem to be skyrocketing right now. In a nutshell this deal on face value looks to be a massive win. Getting back a young, budding All Star in the making, along with multiple firsts for Kyrie is just elite dealing. The icing on the cake is the fact she was able to fan-dangle her own 27 and 29 firsts BACK to further solidify their future.
Missing you bus or train - It just hasn't been your morning. Sleeping through your alarm was the just the first of many issues to arise this morning. You finally leave the house, knowing you will be cutting it fine to make the public transport. You manage to find a park at the station and you see the train approaching. You slam the door and know if you have any shot at making it you need to run, which you do. Your cold and far from limber body start to trot towards the train. you get through the gate and approach the platform and has you get to the doors they shut in your face. You try to pull them open, but you can't. Not only have you missed your ride. You feel the hundred of eyes from inside the carriage staring at you. You feel embarrassed and angry and the only thing you can do it laugh or flip off the driver. Orlando are still in the rebuild stages but have some night talent at the top of their list. Let's see if they make the train leaving the station and see where the destination is.
Brandon Miller averaged 30ppg in Week 11, unfortunately it was not enough to avoid a losing record of 1-3. Still, there’s optimism to be had in Orlando, the future is bright.
Nomadland (2020) – wandering, searching, and not really sure where home court advantage is. GM Mailo has soul-searched and worked her magic on this. A powerhouse performance is waiting. All it takes is one strong presence. The Magic have found a plethora.
The emergence of Peyton Watson has been pleasantly surprising for the Magic I'm sure. With only 5 games under .500 and newly acquired Brandon Miller, the Magic are sitting in a nice spot.
The Kid Who Tries Hard- Always doing her best, this kid doesn't have the natural tools but gives 110%. Sometimes they make mistakes and sometimes they surpass expectations. They're approachable, hardworking and add to the class culture.
Peter Pan - An excitement machine; fun, and growing. Length and defense show promise—offense is still understanding the roster. An exit of star Kyrie might spell a new era of youth and prosperity in Orlando. A shining star for the future!
No One – Alicia Keys Strong and secure, it emphasizes loyalty and resilience. The theme mirrors a team staying united and focused despite external challenges. This team has a goal and will reach it, no matter the outside noise
La Dispute: The Magic are surviving more than they are succeeding, and La Dispute is the right parallel. La Dispute’s sound is poetic, tense, and emotionally driven. It isn't built to dominate, but to endure and communicate something real under difficult circumstances. Orlando’s season looks similar. Naz Reid has carried the load admirably, while highly drafted rookies Thomas Sorber (2025's 5th pick) and Nikola Topic (2024's 10th pick) haven’t seen the floor, and Kyrie Irving appears likely to miss most of the year. Despite all of that, the Magic sit just three games under .500 through three weeks, not because they’re good, but because they compete, stay organized, and grind out results they probably shouldn’t. Like La Dispute, this isn’t a team built for wins or polish; it’s a group holding itself together through structure and effort, even if the losses eventually pile up.
The Hermit: Represents introspection, solitude, and inner guidance. A time to withdraw, reflect, and seek truth. Despite a lack of wins, the Orlando Magic are definitely building. Our lone female, mailo, a rose amongst the thorns, doesn't do things loudly but makes moves. The Magic have control of their pick destiny for this season, so any outcome is good.
The Magic at #13 are basically sitting around like a group of kids waiting for their dad to come back with the milk, except the dad is Kyrie Irving, and the ‘milk’ is him returning from injury without announcing a new spiritual journey.
Childhood Reference: “Insert 50c to continue†arcade machine. With Kyrie Irving out, Reed Sheppard is mashing buttons, hoping the machine gives him a chance. I can win if I have just one more life! This seems to be the motto for the Magic, with no Kyrie, they're running light on firepower. Maybe they need to get another player to go CO-OP mode? 'PLAYER 2 has entered the game!'
