Finding form
Clippers Hit Another Speed Bump: Paolo Out for Week 4
Just as momentum began to shift in Week 3 with Paolo
Banchero’s return, the Fantasy NSL LA Clippers have been dealt another setback:
Paolo will now most likely miss Week 4, forcing LA to once again navigate a
stretch without their top offensive option’s.
The timing is unfortunate, as the Clippers were finally
showing signs of stability and rising form after starting the season 2–8. With Paolo’s
albeit brief return it sparked improved ball movement, cleaner scoring
opportunities, and a more balanced rotation — all of which will be difficult to
replicate heading into the next week.
The Silver Lining: Jalen Williams Set for a Week 5 Return
The Clippers won’t have to wait too long for reinforcements.
Jalen Williams is expected back in Week 5, offering hope that the team will
soon be closer to full strength for the first time all season.
Jalen’s two-way versatility, defensive reliability, and
secondary creation have been sorely missed. His return should help stabilize
the wing rotation, ease scoring pressure on the remaining starters, and bring
much-needed defensive intensity.
Week 4 Outlook
With Paolo side-lined again, Week 4 becomes another test of
depth:
- Secondary
scorers will be asked to step into lead roles.
- The
offense may need to lean more heavily on perimeter creation.
- Maintaining
defensive discipline will be crucial in tighter games.
The Clippers have shown fight — their Week 3 improvement
proved that. But Week 4 shapes up as another uphill climb until reinforcements
arrive.
Week 5 Could Be the Turning Point to the NSL season
If LA can weather the storm in Week 4, they’ll enter Week 5
with Jalen returning and a chance to finally build a full-strength foundation
for what is hoped the rest of the season LOL
