NBA SIMS LEAGUE
Playoffs are just around the corner. There is a very good chance my team will end up 5th place in the Western Conference. Memphis still has a chance to pass us if they win the next 2 games against Utah and Minnesota. Meanwhile, we have one more game against OKC.
5th place will put us against the Golden State Warriors who are led by Darius Garland and RJ Barrett. They lack a big star, but Daz does a really good job of managing his team. And they have beat us before in the regular season.
On the other hand, if Memphis surpasses us, we'll fall to 6th place and have to face OKC. They have a bigger star in Donovan Mitchell. I think I would be more scared I had to face them if they still had Anthony Edwards and Deni Avdija. But they don't.

Just in time for the playoffs, I believe I will get him back. And it's nice that we are not in the play-ins. So there is a better chance I will get to use him in our very first game whether it be Golden State or Oklahoma. Why do I think this? Because he was already doing 5 on 5 drills with the Pacers in the NBA. They weren't competing this year, so there was no need to play him. He was at Wrestlemania a couple of days ago too and it was clear that he didn't have shingles anymore. He is a little overweight though. He attributes this to the medications he had to take for shingles.

I tested him out in NBA2K, and so far he hasn't looked so good. He bricks a lot of shots. It makes me think that they imported his tendencies from last year and never bothered to test whether it works or not on the new engine. So that's kind of a bummer. But he's still a better option than what I have on the bench. So regardless, having him for the playoffs is still an upgrade.
After running 8 simulations, I did however notice that he did do good in the sim where Maxey got injured. So I think maybe he just doesn't do good if he isn't playing PG as Laddas has pointed to for so many years.
