In a decent contest, Detroit got up for the win scoring 114 points compared to Memphis who finished on 105 points. The game was still within reach for both teams, Detroit managed to make the right plays down the stretch, with Memphis left wanting. In the battle of the boards, Memphis got up, pulling down 45 rebounds, compared to Detroit with 40 rebounds. J. Brunson was awesome today, and deserved the Player of the game, scoring a handy 41 points while in the process ripping down 2 rebounds and handing out 1 assists. Look for Memphis to regroup after this one and bring a little bit extra in their next contest.
