In a decent contest, Minnesota got up for the win scoring 109 points compared to Los Angeles who finished on 99 points. The game was still within reach for both teams, Minnesota managed to make the right plays down the stretch, with Los Angeles left wanting. In the battle of the boards, Minnesota got up, pulling down 52 rebounds, compared to Los Angeles with 37 rebounds. J. Butler was awesome today, and deserved the Player of the game, scoring a handy 42 points while in the process ripping down 6 rebounds and handing out 5 assists.
