Late to the party here but i like it for Jmac. Sure Gasol is old but he is as good as Nurk in 2K and Poeltl could become a starter type anyway which makes up for it. Plus the 1st. Tyreke is banned for 2 years.

I see Josh is taking advantage of a buy low opportunity on an injured player.

Thanks for the trade discussions JMAC. Always a bit of fun. Evans was in there purely for salary but if he did ever come back I guess that’s just a bonus

Ben - I was fighting Josh's trade incentives for weeks for Nurk and I finally caved. Almost did call them off and ride it out for Nurk to stay a Blazers for the foreseeable future. He is easily the best asset in the deal.

As far as I'm aware Evans was included purely for salary reasons I don't think ether party was naive enough to think/discuss him as being an actual legit asset lol.

I think Tyreke is done, smart move getting rid of him I think. Good haul for Nurk, I thought you might have stayed put with him given his age/ability but I know you are primed and ready to win now.

Got two centres for the price of one (who is injured) and snagged a firsty too. I can’t see Evans ever playing again and if he does he’ll never regain a meaningful role. Steal.

Great discussions, Josh. Nurk was great for me and sad to see him go but happy with the return. I am happy diversifying Nurk into a few pieces but in reality he is the best rated 2k player, youngest and on the value contract (albeit injured currently)

I think Evans will be back, handy player. Nurkic still has one of the best contracts going around, as long as he gets back on the court. I also like the return too. great deal

Sheesh. Amazing value for Nurk!

Nurk will be 27-28 and just heading into his prime when Gasol most likely retires... Don’t think it’s that one sided but yeah it’s great value for Nurk given his situation.

Is there something missing here? Portland nabs Gasol, Poetl and a first for Nurk, who's coming back from a broken leg, and cap relief. Or is Yogi Ferrell still a valuable?
