Amari Williams is an imposing physical specimen, this is known. What stands out so far in his young career is how he has contributed all across the board. Points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.
Detroit has a spectacular draft, not only is Ace Baily proving to be one of the best rookies in his class, but his teammate Daniss Jenkins is building a case in his own right. I'm a sucker for a good assist/turnover ratio, and Jenkins sits at a 3:1 on the season.
Caldwell didn't provide much in week 16, but Washington doesn't need him to. What he does doesn't show up in the raw stats...unless you count his ridiculous block numbers (1.8 in week 16 in just 16mpg)
The T-Wolves have been crushed by the injury bug this year and someone has to step up. Jeremiah Fears has taken on that role without fear. Sure the shooting splits aren't great, but the mamba mentality is there.
Traore is steadily improving. On the season he's got shooting splits of 31/16/73, however with increased minutes during week 16, we see a big uptick with splits of 44/20/100
Maxime's minutes in week 16 limit what the raw numbers show. But the per 36 is real in week 16 with the young rookie center averaging 16.1 rebounds per 36 minutes.
Asa Newell has a +/- of +4.8 in week 16. In part due to his game against the T-Wolves, a game in which he scored 18 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished out 6 assists.
