Usman Garuba - Garuba has slotted into the Clippers with ease. He isn't the most silky of rookies, but his style of play has made him a handy role player for LA. The Clippers have used him considerably, utilising his length with 18 minutes per game in Week 6. On this average, Garuba managed 7 points, 4 boards, 1 block and 2 steals. Very helpful stats for the young Spaniard. The Clippers have enjoyed his production, especially his 50% shooting in Week 6.
Evan Mobley - he entered the league with a lot of pressure, but has flourished. Mobley is positioning himself for a very successful career. He saw a slight deviation in his stats this week, but nothing to be worried about. Mobley is averaging 11 boards and 14 points per game in his first year, but the most impactful stat for mine is his 2 blocks. He is a young man who knows his role in the Bucks, his 7.4+ is a testament to this.
Isaiah Jackson - Jackson has been playing as close to economical basketball as he can. But he needs to show more in his draft class to be considered award worthy. He has been average 15 minutes across his 18 games, and yet he has only been averaging 4 board and 4 points. Efficient although he may be, Jackson is simply a bit player in this Pacers roster. He will need to do more to be considered a contender.
Kai Jones - Kai Jones! You are my destiny! Kai Jones! Jones has been exceptional! You can see he is genuinely looking to improve. You cannot deny his persistence in the Jazz outfit. 10 points, 6 boards and 1 assist for the Week 6 is a positive sign for this up and coming team. He has been effective in his minutes, only slightly down on his +/-.
Chris Duarte - another Jazzman, and he testifies each and every time he hits the court! He has been very helpful for Utah, securing his spot in the starting lineup. He has been improving, and looks to be a player with a future in the NSL. His style of play can compliment the Jazz, and his production is improving with each week. Week 6 saw him amass an average of 13 points, 1 assist and 2 rebounds on 21 minutes. Lots to like about Duarte.
James Bouknight - Bouknights! His reputation proceeded him leading into the season with all the speculative chatter you would expect from a presidential candidate. Bouknight has impressed in Week 6 though, his increased minutes, his 9 pts from 6 points, his 2 assists from 1 assist, his increased free-throw numbers. Bouknight makes his team better, but will need to be more efficient and clinical to be a serious candidate.
Cameron Thomas - who? Yes Cameron Thomas, the Bulls secret project. In a Bulls squad that has been super impressive, Thomas has played his 13 average minutes with all the confidence of a lottery pick. Thomas has been handy and hasn't embarrassed himself or the organisation. Managing 8 points and 2 boards on average in Week 6 was a handy contribution.
DayRon Sharpe - the man whose name is ripped straight from a Key & Peele sketch. Sharpe has been doing what he needs to from his minutes. Only starting 5 out of 22 - Sharper is making waves with his board and point totals. He remains a consistent for the 76ers. The young man has already seen acknowledgement from the NSL community, recognition that Philly hopes will continue.
Scottie Barnes - Scottie doesn't know! Or does he? Barnes is a big deal, just ask his GM. Barnes knows exactly who he needs to be in this Minny team. He has improved in Week 6 as a result. The Timbs are looking for him to be their guy, not a shadow in amongst the roster. With 12 points, 5 boards and 2 assists on average in Week 6, Barnes is looking up. Not only that but his percentages have increased, seeing an uptick on his FG and 3P percentages. Less minutes and more efficient! Maybe Scottie does know!
Cade Cunningham - either a number one draft pick from the NSL or a period character in a BBC soap opera. Cunningham is building his identity in the league. He hasn't bloomed as quickly as many had hoped with injury and practice time limits. He is improving. Disregard his plus and minus as this Lakers outfit hasn't supported the young guy, but the signs are good especially if the production of Week 6 can permeate into the rest of the season.
