Thon's emergence has been a big part of the Hornets resurgence. He brings even more length to the team and some decent shooting to go with it. He put up 16 & 7 in week 15, started all 4 games, and helped the team to a 3-1 record.
Ulis has kind of burst onto the scene, overtaking Brandon Knight for a lot of minutes in the NBA. He seems to be doing the same for the Clippers lately, starting every game in week 15 and playing over 30 minutes per night. At his size, 4.5 rebounds per game is insane!
12 and 10 is a step up from even his good season-long numbers. He's given Dallas more hope for the future and they're rewarding him with as much PT as he can handle - almost 38 minutes/night in week 15.
Chriss has had a good run of late, and has continued pouring in the points and rebounds in week 15. They got a win last week, which is nice to see for a young team trying to build towards next season.
Tomas (not attempting last name) put up some pretty good numbers considering his limited bench role and kept the Thunder rolling on their league-leading 9 game hot streak. 7.5 assists off of the bench is impressive and he outperformed Rubio while Schroeder was on the IR. Best point guard on the best team means you've got to get it right?
12/5/6 isn't bad for a rookie that is trying to lead a team. The Raptors have a lot of hope pinned on their young point guard and he's shown some flashes that make you think he's worth it.
Who lead the Bulls in scoring in their undefeated week 15? No not Steph or even Dirk "Season-Saver" Nowitzki. Buddy has been unleashed and averaged a dominant 23/3/3 on 45/43/79 splits while helping (maybe even leading?) the Bulls to a 4-0 week.
Yet another young Hornets player putting up good numbers. Jamal is part of the reason that the Hornets will be lowering the white flag on the season - coming together with the other youngsters to get some wins. 53/40/100 are great shooting splits for a point guard this year, let alone a rookie.
Give the Blazers something to cheer for! This isn't a pity vote though... Look at that scoring - maybe the most dominant scoring week we've seen from a rookie this year. Almost 27 points/game and even shooting 44% from deep - so much for that being his weakness.
