ROOKIE OF THE WEEK WATCH - Week 9

DeAndre Bembry
Another guy that is only on the watch list due to the poor week most rookies had last week.  He is no competition for the award.
Georges Niang
What is going on here???  These rookie really are just not impressive.  Now, I will say that Niang doubled his PPG average last week and almost doubled his rebounding.
Dario Saric
Nice improvements as he was slotted into a starting role (due to injury).  Surprise numbers for Dario... 9 RPG!!  Nicely done for a stretch 4.  and 11 PPG isn't terrible.  Saric is also benefiting from a lack of stats from the Western rookies this week too.
Marquese Chriss
He was the best rookie in the West this week, averaging a solid double double with 20-12 splits.  Sure he's playing on a probable lottery team, but he's playing lights out compared to a lot of other rooks in similar situations.
Patrick McCaw
He quadrupled his scoring average this week and more that tripled his rebounds!!!
Malcolm Brogdon
He' really not playing up to the level expected of a ROTW in the NLL
Kris Dunn
PER 7.83
Eastern 4-0
He plays for Toronto, who is openly selling their older parts for picks and youth.  He's gotta deal with getting beat up by opponents almost nightly.
Ivica Zubac
PER 20.01
Eastern 3-1
Great rebounding numbers.  Solid steals and blocks too.  High FG%
Brandon Ingram
PER 16.63
Western 3-1
He led his team with a nice 23.5 PPG last week and shot over 50% from 3. He also improved his rebounding and assists this past week over his season averages.

The PPG is tops amongst all rookie candidates in the East this week!
